No I think you got it all wrong. my friend and I tested it last night. If you block a light from a berzerker or conq, they are so minus that you get a free guardbreak as if you parried them. They are changing that. If you swing a heavy against conq you are so minus that he gets a free guardbreak. I don't believe they are changing that, which I'm okay with.Berserkers only a little different and it's only for light as far as I am aware. No the way they worded the patch notes is all weird but basically what they meant was they were getting rid of the free gb that berserker and conqurer gets after blocking a light attack. I've been punished using heavies against conq but I don't remember if it was a free gb.
Are you sure because I tested it as well and that wasn't the case. Certain. It's the other way around. They have unsafe light attacks. Are you sure because I tested it as well and that wasn't the case. I found if either one blocks one of your light attack they get an untechabke throw.
This is correct. Ubisoft community manager has not mentioned any changes to Conq's unique block so far. The only change mentioned is that berserker and conqueror light attacks will be made safe on block.Certain. It's the other way around. They have unsafe light attacks.
I believe there are 2 characters released after every season. Not sure how long a season is but it isn't too short.I've never had more fun getting mopped than I did last night after finally buying this game. Shugoki for INJ2 DLC.
I'm not sure if there's anything as satisfying as getting that one hit kill via Demon's Embrace when you're at critical health. This game is awesome and will definitely tide me over until May 16th.
Anyone know when the DLC characters are being released? And will there be a new class entirely or is it just going to be more Vikings, Samurai and Knights?

I understand where I went wrong when I tested it I was testing if when one character blocked a light they would get a free go but I was testing it with both conq and berserker so that's why they got the free gb.Certain. It's the other way around. They have unsafe light attacks.
Yes reallyNot really, unless you are playing conqueror or parrying his attacks, blocking his heavy does not stop the chain, from wich he gets a lot of mixups.
from the unblockable top heavy you can cancel into:
Side light attack (without the cancel button)
Armored side heavy (without the cancel button, which can canceled again with the cancel button)
Grasping Pounce (forward dash + GB)
Helm Splitter (forward dash + light attack) (top)
Swift Strike (side dash + Light Attack)
If your opponent is parrying you can try to mess his timing with feints.
Of course your opponents can shut you down, but its not THAT easy.

That's why I clarified that and gave alternatives to do when your opponent parries you.Yes really
if you are going for heavy's then thanks for the free parrys, because kensei side heavys are slower than most and top heavy is shut down just as easily by blocking top. I have been playing kensei in about 70% of my duels and I mostly only play duels I am well aware of what they can do and they are among the worst of the classes, only above the raider and the valkyrie. Everything the Kensei has is super reactable except for that top light, which is why leaving your guard up top shuts them down super hard.

When you take into account that a ton of the cast can't get anything guaranteed off of parrying Kensei, the fact that he uses feinting attacks to a shocking degree, that his side step attacks are pretty damn good and that if you play him more defensively than offensively using your superior range, he's not that bad. He's actually, quite good.Yes really

I appreciate what you write but its all just the basics. Kensei has the slowest dash attack, if you block kensei's side attack you get a free guardbreak. Kensei is too relient on feinting to get anything going, which in course takes up too much stam, which in course means your offense time to be "on" is much less than the other classes. That's why I clarified that and gave alternatives to do when your opponent parries you.
I've been playing Kensei only since the closed beta except for 4 or 5 matches and lately I didn't even need the top light or the helm splitter to start my offense.
Perphaps I'm misunderstanding you, but it sounds like you think that using top guard is enough to shut down the Kensei offense.
If I'm playing Kensei and I see that my opponent is not parrying my attacks, I don't care if he has top guard, he won't stop me from doing my stuff.
If the opponent, instead, is parrying or evading my attacks, then it's up to me to mix up my offense or develop a winning strategy, but my opponent would be doing far more than just blocking.
I am fully aware of what hes capable of, and enough of the cast can still side heavy after a parry, they just can't get get a guardbreak. Hes the third worst character in the game after raider and valk. When you take into account that a ton of the cast can't get anything guaranteed off of parrying Kensei, the fact that he uses feinting attacks to a shocking degree, that his side step attacks are pretty damn good and that if you play him more defensively than offensively using your superior range, he's not that bad. I've actually come fully around on Lawbringer. I think he just needs a solid player on him. That push is really damn strong, still wish lights were guaranteed off of it but it's still strong regardless.I appreciate what you write but its all just the basics. I play Kensei cause its fun but I make no illusion about him being good. Its funny because most people think Kensei is decent and lawbringer is trash, when its the opposite.

You honestly might be right. Lawbringer is being slept on for sure regardless. Like putting push aside, have you played against someone that uses Back+Guardbreak effectively? Cuz that move is actually dumb when it hits.If a light was guaranteed of a shove lawbringer would dethrone warden as best character and then some.
those are both extremely opinion based things you just said. you're open to em, but don't say them like they're facts1v1 is mad boring guys. Took me a week or so to come to terms.
Also: crazy bad spectator game
Thanks for the tips bro. been grinding out the match up i just think its kinda an annoying march up for warlord but getting betterJust block her and move in.
Her fastest moves are her out of stance pokes and her side light attacks. They are all react able just some are harder than others. Her kick is very hard to dodge on reaction after a blocked heavy so if you do block a heavy try to dodge right after otherwise your going to have a bad time.
She generally uses a lot of stamina so she can't just roll back whenever she wants and if she keeps back dashing then wait and punish the back dash with a gb

Did you say SFV wasn't fun or that SFV was a bad game? Because those are two very different things.Give it a month. People didn't believe me about SFV at first either...
By bad I did mean boring. I'm a fourth rep Shugoki and there's a lot I'd change about the game for 1v1. It's an amazing game and I know the developers have their ears to the ground so I expect the game to change a lot. But the way the clock works right now, combined with the minimal reason to initiate attacks makes for poor viewership for me. Reduce the clock and have the winner be the guy with more health left plz.Did you say SFV wasn't fun or that SFV was a bad game? Because those are two very different things.
