Grabble Frazzled
Double Post

Okay so this might be a longer post so TL;DR = Chems are OP

Alright, so for my second playthrough, I decided to make the Wasteland Junkie. I appropriately named him Dr. Jekyll. So here's my build:

S - 3 P - 4 (with bobblehead) E - 4 C - 7 I - 7 A - 2 L - 1

Weapons: Overseer's Guardian/Justice (Full Auto Mods)
Armor: Ballistic weave something dope, and armor pieces helping with Cha, End, or Int

Perk Guide:

02 – Chem Resistant 1
03 – Chemist 1
04 – Medic 1
05 – Party boy 1
06 - Locksmith 1
07 - Hacker 1
08 - Gun Nut 1
09 - Armorer 1
10 - Demolition Expert 1
11 - Commando 1
12 – Locksmith 2
13 – Hacker 2
14 - Commando 2
15 - Party boy 2
16 - Chemist 2
17 – Fortune Finder 1
18 – Medic 2
19 – Cap Collector 1
20 - Demolition Expert 2
21 – Gun Nut 2
22 - Chem Resistant 2
23 – Locksmith 3
24 - Hacker 3
25 - Armorer 2
26 - Commando 3
27 - Gun Nut 3
28 - Armorer 3
29 – Demolition Expert 3
30 - Medic 3
31 - Toughness 1
32 - Chemist 3
33 - Life Giver 1
34 - Toughness 2
35 - Commando 4
36 - Demolition Expert 4
37 - Party boy 3
38 - Fortune Finder 2
39 - Gun Nut 4
40 - Armorer 4
41 - Life Giver 2
42 - Toughness 3
43 – Fortuner Finder 3
44 – Cap Collector 2
45 - Chemist 4
46 - Life Giver 3
47 - Toughness 4
48 - Toughness 5
49 - Medic 4
50 - Commando 5

This character is so damn OP. I rushed to Nordhagen to build water purifiers, and I like the area. Became a water baron so I can buy Overseer's and Justice early. Joined Railroad for BW, and got the chems from Diamond City Blues. You only need the preception bobblehead to make this build work. I am currently level 47 on Survival and I never die, like, ever. Legendary Deathclaw? Pls. Bufftats + Bourbon is an amazing combo. Grape Mentats and Bobrov's means you can sell water for a billion, pass any speech check, and buy ammo on the cheap (you will need to, auto rifles eat through ammo). I don't need V.A.T.S. PsychoJet or regular Jet are better imo. Vodka increases HP, Med-X gives you Dmg Resist. This has been one of the most entertaining builds I have played, and if you haven't yet, I recommend you try it!

Some setbacks to this build are:

Requires a lot of upkeep (Drugs ain't cheap, and with the combo of Demo Expert, you'll need a lot of mats)
Slow start (but who cares if you get addicted, it's RP dawwwwwg)
Eats through ammo (Thanks full auto)

Working on my Scientist/Power Armor char now.

Do you guys know where I can buy a whole bunch of steel and I like that Pimp my settlement idea lol.
If you don't mind using glitches, the fastest way I know of is to unlock the female general lady at the Castle. If you have both of the perks that give you more items for scrapping gear then it works even better, but for steel it will work regardless.

Use the infinite cap glitch to purchase all of her weapons. Waddle over to the weapons bench and break them all down. Boom, instant butt-load of steel and wood.

Infinite Cap Glitch: Buy whole stack of ammo (specifically ammo you don't use; preferably .38 or .44) but don't complete transaction! Sell back 1 but don't complete transaction. Sell back 3 but don't complete transaction. Try to sell back whole stack. If it works, you'll be left with some left that you can infinitely sell. Sell about a dozen times (but don't complete transaction) and then go to her inventory and try to buy back the stack. It will start doubling. This way with around 15 button presses you can have her in debt enough to buy all of her weapons. However, it will clear out your reserve of that ammo type, so only do it with ammo you don't use.

I don't think this works anymore since the latest update.

Haven't played the game in 3 weeks but popped in to say how horrible every settlement looks, no matter how well crafted, when all the things people spend hours to make have literally no variation outside of bad looking board walls. There needs to be some variety as free DLC.

Also want to play with some mod that massively increases mob damage and yours by a bit, something like 1x/1.5x player and 3/4x enemy. Sucks that I remember being lvl 30 with a 110 damage .50 cal sniper and doing just a third of a regular gunner's HP. South and south eastern territories have pretty high lvl enemies and there was an article I read months ago that stated enemies have their own lvls.
Normally I would say, oh it's Qwark so his standards are way beyond that of anyone else and should be taken with a pinch of salt... but as I read on you're pretty correct with settlements, where it is a fun idea it did feel under developed and just there to tick a box on the development list in this "minecraft" dominated age of building, I need more variation, I need more options, I need better snapping mechanics, I need MORE.

Oh man... I'm so jealous looking at the current PC mods, past and current Skyrim mods, and the future of Fallout 4 mods. Fucking amazing game changing shit... that I will never be able to get, lol.

Just some examples... Current settlement mode is absolute shit. On PC, there have already been hundreds of pieces added, along with place whatever/where ever, with no snap/clipping issues. Fuck! I'd actually build something in that editor/version. New clothes, new character customization options, full body sliders, new weapon mods, enhanced graphics/textures that are supposedly optimized better than vanilla's.

As much as I love this game... knowing of the superior version with endless options/additions definitely makes me sad.

Fuck you PC masta race!

I've been playing a little, a very VERY minor amount as a highway man abusing the pick pocket and intimidate where you rob them blind and then pacify them, or if you prefer, send them running into another enemy naked and unarmed.

Got bored, looking for a new build idea.
