Xbox live pisses me off, fuckin Ilovepoop still doesnt have my joystick done, he said its in the mail but I got no tracking info so who knows if its the truth or not. I got my car back from the shop finally, so I been street racing like crazy. I know I'm not going to Philly too. Bah dunno, I would drive to The Break to play, but I got a wedding like I said. Playing at the Break is totally worth it, but traveling to Philly to play on a console isnt to me. At least not with the way I'm feeling about the game as of lately.

What time does it start?. I hope it's like last year with all day practice and the tourney later on. Im running a bit late so if it happens anywhere between 2-5 then I might not be there. If it's later than that ill be there for the tourney if not ill catch you guys for some casuals afterwards.
Thanks to everyone who showed up tonight, it was a lot of fun, the after party was a great big nerdfest at Uno's Pizza Restaurante, good time. I'll post results in a minute.
The tournament was played in Round Robin fashion. The turnout was about what I expected, however there were a few names that were unexpected. Several guys who are usually there weren't and some people who guaranteed they were coming didn't, and also 3 players who were going to play just didn't for some reason. In any event, 11 players is better than 0 players.
It's most of the tournament, all the "important" matches and a handful of undercards. Approximately 80 matches total sorted by set.

There were a couple ties which happen even in normal tournaments but I just put the player who won the set vs their tying player over. It was a good time for all and the tournament went very smoothly. About 3 1/2 hours total for all the matches and everyone in the top 7 has all their matches vs eachother on tape and a handful of matches for the remaining players as well, courtesy of Summoning's friend who was kind enough to record the tournament for us. He'll upload them as wmvs for the site and then to his youtube accounts. As soon as this is done videos will be posted.

Nice lineup, basically just how I woulda called it... I just got home, I went from the wedding, to 2 bars, then the strip club, and now I'm home lmfao. Wish I coulda came, but oh well! I'll see you all some other time, congrats to the winners.
Hey, sorry I wasn't in the tournament. I showed up around 5:20. I played a few games, hung around until like 6 and ended up having to leave for an emergency, and had to drive an hour and 20mins back home because a close friend got into a pretty bad car accident. But in the games I actually did play, I was absolutely horrible, lol. It was a hard transition goin from the Xbox360 to playing on a machine. I haven't touched a cabinet in 10yrs, lol. Needless to say I would have been the worse player that day. But hopefully I won't have to leave for the next tournament.

That punching bag machine was pretty annoying. Kids stepping all over your feet, backing into you and bein clumsy and getting in everybodies way.
