D’Vorah looks absolutely insane! Super strong moveset and very creative. It seems like they put a lot of thought into her design. I really had zero interest in using her before the Kombat Kast, now she’s very high on my list!

seriously, pretty cool .... loved this skin, something kinda .... organic and insectoid ..... creepy but awesome , I think its better than the hood version ..... D'vorah is really a character they improved 100% regarding gameplay moveset and aesthetic look for MK11 ! :cool:

She looked great in MKX (one of my personal favorites from the whole cast) and even better in MK11.

I really loved the fatality as well; as a huge Dead Space fan, I found it reminiscent to a human transforming into a Necromorph.

I really love the work they've done on her to really bring out the HORROR side of the character! It's some great stuff.

To be honest; I thought she was pretty fucking lame in MK X personally. I don't know if it was because of the overall lifeless aesthetic that game, but she looked so bland and mediocre to me, and the textures made her seem too pristine. It didn't help that the only thing the writers could think of to establish her as a major player in the lore was to have her kill off two fan favorites before disappearing.

This is definitely the re-vamp she needed to be more appealing to me though, and now I can really buy her as this menacing, creepy... thing without the disdain of her previous exploits. The juxtaposition of such a cutesy voice with a much more gnarled, textured, and grotesque looking appearance that rings truer to the character concept of a hive queen than her MK X look is perfect, and I now find the voice much more complementary to her more so than annoying like I thought it was in X.

Overall, I have to say I'm a fan of hers now. I'll definitely be trying her once the game releases, and that fatality alone would make her worth playing despite of everything.

Never touched or liked D’Vorah before. She’s easy top 3 for me design wise now. The Batgirl/Shelob custom move made me squeal. Definitely gonna try her now.

Looks pretty strong imo.

I will main D'vorah in MK11. (Untill they will bring Sindel as DLC). Now i can tell, D'vorah is the most fun from newcomers. So impressed by D'vorah , and Fatality is the bestt in the game so far. Yes.Yes.YES!

Damn, I was really hoping the shoulder hives would be customizable, there's potential for some real nightmarish shit there. But that's a pretty good selection of customizations; wings and ovi's will go a long way towards individualizing her, a lot more so than some chars.

The only thing I think was better in MKX was her X-Ray. It was gross and brutal. Her Fatal Blow seemed a bit restrained in that regard.
Nothing is worse than Kitanas Trampoline bounce Fatal Blow.

Well, they're going to have to fix that ability -- either by increasing range, decreasing the time the "poop" is expelled from the rectum, OR (ideally) by allowing the player to control its "bowl evacuation" (augmented by allowing it to remain in play much longer).

For, as it stands, it's too slow to activate and its range is piddling -- a.k.a. too gimmicky... And a gimmick that makes Poison Ivy's "spewing cactus" choke in its green bile with laughter!
Absolutely not! That move is very strong how it is just because you can spam any random normal into it doesn't mean it's useless. How about fast highs with little pushback. Cutting off strings into it, it creates a guess game on how many hits and when it's coming. Which adds block pressure. How about using it in the corner?

That move doesn't need any buffs at all. Let's see how it works in game before asking to buff or Nerf moves.

When I said that it’s hard to consider D’Vorah a female character I meant that, besides being a monster with some weird physiology, the procreation process in the Kytin Hive doesn’t seem to have common male/female roles.
But after this KK it seems that formally female Kytin act more like males lol. She is just going around pumping everyone full of her seeds, like “Incubate my young bitch”.

I like how she has a slow projectile with the extra amplify projectile to catch jumps. Those are always fun.

Curious to see how trading will feel with it with the bug "debuff".

yep, she is a predator that only care about her species conservation and survival instinct .... more or less like the xenomorphs (Aliens). :)

The only thing i was curious to see was the fatality they spoke highly about. Tbh it was not over the top, just a fatality as good as the other characters’. I dont think its something special

this .... or they are hiding something, kinda , her 2nd fatality that is the ultra gross shocking one, hehe .... :D

That’s what I thought too, but then I started thinking maybe it’s meant to be more of a corner tool. Even with the shitty midscreen range (pun intended!), it helps protect her from retaliation, it’s just not helpful for continued pressure. But in the corner? Holy shit...
