But ive bumped down to orange and not caring too much about it. Still kinda afraid to touch rank cuz playing that mode is the worst. Do you still even play?

He is the most difficult to play in the game hands down. I'm trying to utilize his flight pressure game to muscle memory, but i basically just play him very basic.

I'm still trying to get his moves down myself because training and playing real time are completely different. Having way more fun with Vegeto at the moment as hes my starter. But if you're using Zamasu as your starter, flight cancels are your best friend, because you can end a combo string with 236 L (then hold Ki) for the string to cancel into flight, call an to cover, or hover your opponent for an opening, cancel with 4S I believe for him to cancel his flight, into an overhead by mashing light.

Yeah i know....sounds complicated.....welp.....he is lol Good luck

Get ur orbs out.

Every orb summon can be another turn at pressure. Once you’ve enforced respect for 214L pressure. You can also use 214M and sometimes steal a turn while theyre respecting the L version, then get another turn when the M orbs actually fire.

Other than that, yeah flight cancel shenanigans.

He actually plays similarly to Nappa, but simpler and better imo.

Srsly though, giving some thought to something like:

Piccolo - Zamasu - Kid (no particular order as-yet) as some kind of weird, post KD, non-optimal, troll train.. lots of KDs into lv1s as Piccolo and Zammy, and lots of little pink gumballs during the ensuing pressure. All so I can work far harder for inferior results than if I played my normal team, or just put Cell anywhere with my already-idiotic Kid.

But realistically, I'll probably just play who I've been playing.. my core of Kid and Black, running either Vegeta or Goku depending on mood, and shoe-horning 21 in occasionally for funsies.

But I'ma get these god damn Answer combos down.

I play on PS4 and during the first couple of months of the game at least it had these issues, I barley could've get any matches outside of Arena matches due to super slow matchmaking, and even in Arena matches it was too long (and I never got into Ranked matches at all because of this) and then there were several disconnections, sometimes during the matches. And that was just in 2-3 online sessions. I'm yet to check the online again but I hope that it will be at least better then last time.

Just broke down and bought Zamasu and Bardock trying to make a team with Cell on point, does this team have any synergy? I have not played in months and never touched Cell before he is god damn bonkers jesus. Can anyone link me to a good video with Zamusa block strings and combos?

I’ve been avoiding the thread completely until I’d seen it.

HGG was actually incredible. Not sure I’ve ever seen someone totally lose their shit (end GF 1st set) and come back so strong in the next set. So many scalps along the way too. Sonic was awesome, but seemed pretty lost by the end of the final set. Massive kudos to HGG. Entire tournament was amazing, special shout-out to Kazunoko’s Yamcha, hype af.

How is everybody in this game? I know the hype train has died cuz of one word....ONLINE....but Uncle JBeezY wants to know what the meta of TYM folk who still play?

I'm trying my damnest to "want" to play because i do need constant practice. But for me, the online is sooo fucking bad, it kinda kills the desires to even want to play. Offline, is RIGHTEOUS! And everything you practice online, can most def be applied in real time especially when you can actually react to shit.

So what are y'alls thoughts on this game? Which team are you rocking currently? What can adjusted to make this game better?

Let's discuss ;)

Online is cancer. hype killer for sure. Vegito is as hard to use in lag as he is to deal with. Casuals with people you know is def better, ranked is still a cesspool.

OH MY SWEET GURKENS! YES HE I cuz i dealt with the same lag bullshit playing him last night and it was shitty!

Currently using Vegito, Goku Black, SSJ Vegita. They have this Power Ranger vibe with them that i dig, but im just trying to find the best combination with Vegito because hes so damn fun to play. I stay the fuck away from ranked and either play casuals or random Ring Matches.

I would like to play somebody from here though but i feel the amount ppl that play this game have diminished...its sad

I play a lot, but I've been on a bloodborne kick as of late lol.

Still playing the game alot though im also tryong to learn BBXT, and still rocking Krillin, Yamcha, and Piccolo.

Thinking of trying out a variation of this and going to Krillin, Yamcha, Goku. Which feels a bit odd because Piccolo is probably the strongest of my three individually but he doesn't mesh the same way Krillin and Yamcha mesh so well.

I also tried out some Teen Gohan, thinking if I could get such good mileage off Krillin, how bad could it be?... and wow, that character is bad.
