Got DragonBall FighterZ for PC today, and I'm liking it so far. I was wondering if maybe someone could link me to the best resources for learning the game? Write-ups, videos, etc.
Not sure if anyone has answered you yet.. but as to resources, YouTube is your friend here...look up ThatBlastedSalami's channel.. you'll see Tekken stuff, but he has some character and mechanic videos posted that are really excellent.
I'd recommend looking up a video (there are lots and nothing has changed, so they are all still relevant) that talks about universal combo routes and how they work,and then look for any videos that explain system mechanics in general. A one-stop-shop for that would be UM Tyrant's channel as well as TBS I mentioned earlier. Tyrant has vids on how to combo, how to move around, system mechanics, etc.
After that it's just a matter of figuring out your team, then repeating the YouTube process for character videos. Once you know the universal combo route structure you'll be able to combo on almost any character in the game, and though it may not be purely optimal, it's MORE than enough to get by... Then just hunt down bnb videos or, my personal recommendation, watch high level gameplay of your character to see what's actually being used in matches.
