I find it odd that we are talking about the game AFTER MK11, when we don't even have MK11, yet.

Having said that, I'd prefer NRS sticks with MK11 for a while, though. Small tweaks here and there to really make the game have a long life. I'd like to see more DLC than before, as well.

I don't dislike Injustice, but it doesn't hold my interest like MK does.

1000% agree, I hope they hhave multiple seasons of DLC. Most other fighting games have that, so I'm hoping MK11 will have that too.

They could just do a Batman fighting game, since they love to flood the Injustice games with characters from his franchise.

Batman has amazing characters and the best rogues gallery of all time. I suggest this roster:

The best thing about a Batman FG would be the (presumably) less zoning compared to Injustice. It SHOULD be heavily melee.

Give us that He-Man Masters Of The Universe Game. I just feel this game with how NRS is killing it with the graphics now would be soooo good.

I think everybody would play that plus it gives them an opportunity to create another new fighting game with a fresh concept that people would embrace.

I'm not a big fan of comic book characters, which is why injustice never stuck with me. I would absolutely love it if:
1. They broke this 2 year development cycle and made it 3 or 4 years. Would give use more time with each game, let the esports scene develop more, and give them more time to get creative with each game.
2. Kept MK in the rotation permanently (as in a new mk every other game) but switched out injustice with something else. It wouldnt have to be permanent, but I'm simply tired of injustice and I feel as if netherrealm could really take their expertise into a different type of fighting game. Maybe they could make something entirely new, id really enjoy that.

No, I feel like they are moving away from injustice, but it's just a feeling. I suspect we'll be moving on to a new generation by time that game comes out as well.

just imagine baraka or reptile stalking you through a maze of hallways n shit and you have to find something to block they're path with or your dead. you'd mostly have melee weapons to use for your defence.

For those saying NRS should just skip over making a new game in favour of supporting MK11 for a longer time period, yeah, sorry, that's not gonna happen.

The 2 year cycle has been a thing all the way back to MKDA (only MK9 has deviated from it, by 5 months). And with the likelihood of at least one next generation platform being released in the next 2 years, you can bet WB are gonna want to have something ready for it.

I'm not really fussed what their next project will be, so long as MK isn't treated as if it doesn't exist within the FGC for 2 years at a time.

Tbh the market is so saturated with superheroes rn that even I feel kinda tired from all that. I hope NRS gonna flex their creative muscles and create something entirely new.

But then again, Injustice 2 story was the best thing that happened to DC since Nolan’s Batman, so I wouldn’t be really disappointed if Injustice 3 is announced.
