I'm gonna seriously need to slap a bitch, I am beyond pissed that YouTube is such a shitty platform for creators, that they let salty record labels protect the virtue of pussy boys like Dimitri Vegas because they don't like criticism. Yeah, your voice acting FUCKING SUCKS, you know it, we all know it, get the fuck over it. Do they really think doing this is going to help? It makes him and his team seem even worse.

Anyways, I posted a joke video of characters reacting to his voice acting by editing intros (which took me a while like ffs), and they claimed the video because why the fuck not.

And I wasn't the only one, SMG Princess also posted a video that was called "Dimitri vs Sonya, who's the worst?" or something along those lines, I believe someone posted it here yesterday and 2 seconds later it was claimed by the same record label that claimed my video.

So I countered the claim and also sent them an email, both saying they have zero legal grounds to copyright strike and remove my video. So I'll update this thread on any info, in the meantime, you can watch the video on Twitter here:

But the bigger picture is I'm so close to dropping YT and just focusing on streaming altogether, why would I put my time and effort in making something cool for their platform when they don't even protect me from this bullshit?

Say whatever you want about Ronda, she didn't react that way, she didn't give a flying shit. She's a gem.

Seriously....how out of touch is NRS with what people would want? This the most confounding addition to an NRS game ever. I finally heard his voice lines on Destroyer's stream last night (he was trying to do an all Dmitri Vegas KOH) and I couldn't believe how shit it was.

MK11 has JUST turned 4 months old today and there's already so many laughable, embarrassing things that have happened. I predicted it would take a full year to get this game where it needed to be and I think that's still accurate.

I have no idea why they didn't know beforehand, in this day and age, KNOWING how much flak Ronda got, that he would get teared to shreds.

TFW you get added in a gory game where you'll get your head chopped off but you silence voice acting criticism.

seems they want viewers to primarily go to his channel to view the skin (I wonder if his likeness means he owns the rights to the skin, is the logic behind youtube removing videos???)

I mean legally they can't, since the skin is in MK, they had to buy his likeness. He doesn't own the rights to the skin, NRS does, or WB.

YouTube is a piece of shit company (well Google really), this kind of stuff has been happening a lot. Speedrun community just had an issue with targeted harassment from a toxic content creator leading to good creators being demonetized, Tekken players are being demonetized due to claims on the music in Tekken (Harada said it's not the Tekken devs doing it either and he had no idea), and now this shit. It happens constantly and YTers have been complaining for years about how poor of an automated system is in place.

I agree, they're not helping creators and they don't care. So why should I care? I'm so done with their shit platform.

I loved it when people said the same thing about Ronda when she was criticized, oh wait, people were too busy ripping her a new one to defend her, lul.

Who cares if it's him personally or not, it's his record label. They labelled me as guilty before proven innocent on my video, I'll do the same to them, it's only fair.

Frankly, they can suck my ass.
