Work Hard Play Hard
When I play mashers I use characters with fast mids, restands, and frame traps a lot. Mashers are inpatient and get opened up a lot.If somebody is literally mashing d2, just take a half step back and then full combo them for it on whiff.
Mashers are honestly the easiest types of opponents to beat, because they don't consider frame data. You just let them hang themselves.
The problem I have with D2 is that it has a crushing blow reward (which I'm okay with), but no consequences for having it blocked. I guess I'm just used to MKX and I2 where if I block a D2 I get a punish.
