okay so you have to beat said person to get there scalp or eliminate them from tourney or destroy them? also if i collect a scalp ( a 9 scalp) at a local being that am a 3 right now how would that work?? or is it only for majors/regionals?
If you beat someone you collect their scalp. How much value the scalp is worth depends on if it's a local, a regional or a major and if you're a regular at the local.
There are other outside factors. For example, right now you're lowering your value by fishing for props.

hey i am just trying to figure this stuff out, you never went into detail like your answer just now, i just gave a hypothetical, i wasn't in anyway shape or form trying to fish for props, so i don't see how you come up with that tbh.

Grr is worth a 7. NEC placing was big. Has now been overshadowed by Max since KIT. Needs to travel and place and not just place on the EC.
Chris G is worth a 6. Has fallen off badly since Summer Jam but it's Chris G so his name value carries a lot of weight. One more bad tournament and he will completely slip however.

one more question does losing to a low scalp person hurt your scalp rating? Example, scalp 8 losing to scalp 1?? and by how much? are there any factors like like (not trying to prop fish) losing to me but i've talked myself all the way down to a 1 scalp, so it doesn't really hurt as much as losing to pantychrist?

It depends on the context. Upsets at a local won't hurt a high ranked scalp. However getting upset a major might. You can be saved from demotion of the lower scalp that upset you goes on to prove they are also a high scalp.
For example, at NEC when PPJ beat Darth Arma it would be considered an upset and Arma's rating may have gone down. However later int he tournament PPJ won the whole thing and his sky rocketed and Arma placed top 8 in the losers side anyway. So in the end it was a gain for PPJ and neutral for Arma.
Also your scalp has now gone down again for props fishing.
