Based on all the posts I've seen like this one, I'm going to start trying to learn Sindel. I'm determined not to get surprised by this character at major. I may still get blown up by her but at least when it happens it won't be very surprising.

I agree that Sindel is looking pretty beast, and Sheeva is moving up in my book.

The responses to this thread are absolutely mind blowing to me...

Stryker is probably the most under rated character in the game. There is absolutely no way Kano is even in the bottm 10, and Nightwolf is a bad ass.

Baraka is insanely good too.. it's just that people don't play him alot.

Ermac in the bottom 5? yea. unreflectable lift and push... air to air JP for 35% +. A wakeup game that gets you hit for over 40% if you ever try to rush him.... Super simple and ridiculously high damage..... Not to mention unbreakable damage...

Yea, he's terrible........ lol.

It's sad to think that Sindel players are sitting next to their calenders, waiting for Final Round so they can watch Mr. Mileena use her, instead of going to the lab and learning their own god damn character. The game's been out for almost a year. Pathetic.

thats not true. its only been since oct that they released the hand cuffs off sindel. so its been 3 months..

i myself did ok with her at NEC, would have done better if i had known my sticks had a slight lag in them.. i have since tinkered with them and hope to place in the top 16 at WB... atleast i hope.. i still have problems facing Mileena, Raiden, Kung lao and reptile with her. working on it, which is where Mr. Mileenas version of sindel comes in.

on the other side of the coin he struggles vs Noob and a few others where my version doesnt. this is why were both putting our heads together and giving advice.

Obviously you've never actually taken a look at the Sindel forums.

I haven't but I'm going off perception.
And to Dancock, I wasn't really referring to you but to the people who seem to want recognition for their own character through someone else without actually putting in the time to learn the character...i.e. posting setups, frame talk, etc.

And people need to realize that every character in the game has tools to win and because your in the bottom five, doesn't mean you suck.

And to REO, you lol at people who put Sheeva, Jade and Sindel in the bottom 5. So out of characters 6-21, who should replace those three? Ermac? Scorpion? Sektor?

The game is more balanced than people think...
People need to stop posting that their butthurt about their characters position and just post what the title asks, your bottom five and maybe a short explanation.

a bit off topic, but whats your opinion on the Kano/Sindel matchup?

i think the game is balanced to the point where the bottom tier characters would be considered low mid in most other fighting games

I totally agree with rude awakening about Sindel! Her Fly cancel is so underrated, has great zoning, low fireball that is advantage on hit and medium/low mixups. I play her, and I use her 2, 1 string alot. I think it's great, plus she has an anti-wakeup combo (see my post on Sindel general strategies). I would love it if Mr. Mileena lived up to the hype and got Top 8 at final round with her.

While Mr. Mileena has been impressive lately, Sindel is still a mid tier character. She has a fairly large hitbox and no armor moves, and you need defensive options in this game. Even Freddy would not be who he is without EX teleport and the defense NMS provides.

id just like to point out the reason i am saying something about her not being low tier anymore like i had thought was because i was wrong.. if you look at past threads and posts i was the biggest "sindel sucks" "sindels the worst in the game" person so im just pointing out that i dont think that anymore.

very good point an armor move would definitely move her above the muddled middle.

Woah Sektor bottom 5? He's top 10 imo. I disagree with the rest as well but everyone's entitled to their own opinions.

Mine (worst to 5th worst):
Jade, Sheeva, Stryker, Baraka, Nightwolf
