Great advice earth shaker is so damn hard to block I don't see how people consistently do it.

nah fuck it,just let it hit you.it only does about 3%,then u can lay on the floor and enjoy yourself.

I'm definitely not the best Zod player, and I recently bought my first stick and am still very much adjusting to it, but going to Apex and getting double-eliminated by a Deathstroke player (albeit a good one) felt bad because I know that MU is advantage Zod. I grinded the MU out a little with @G4S J360 and he gave me some tips, but he still absolutely bopped me and I left wondering why it should be easy.

My main problem is how difficult it is to pop trait safely in the full-screen game. I feel like I have to blow meter (MB air rifle), and even then he was using quick fire to trade and take my advantage away instead of blocking. Low gun shots is fast enough to beat MB ground blast and ducks his hurtbox under everything else.

What do I get for free after I block quick fire? Low gunshots?

Also if anyone can find the archived videos of m2dave playing those DSs from the bounty thing, I would be much obliged.

Zod vs Doomsday it feels like Doomsday just runs wild and does what he wants, I can't figure out a way to deal with him. Any tips?

Zod vs Bane MU is supposed to be in zods favor right? i don't quite see how since bane can easily bypass zods zoning when he's venomed up.

I seem to recall a match some time ago where Bane barely landed a hit because whenever he got to Venom LVL 3, zod would just backdash/air zod charge away. And when he wasn't LVL 3, Zod could just zone all day long

It was before the patch if I am remembering right, so yeah, it was a while ago. Basically back when the character was still widely regarded as bad

You have to keep him honest w your zoning, slow balls are great and set up hella traps. More on this later in a video

I'm by no means an expert in this MU, but some things you can do is zone him with Zod balls and MB lasers while waiting for trait. If he gets in his B22 will whiff on crouch. Check him with D12 PS. In footsies mix up back dash and raw PS. If PS is blocked Flash has no safe option to deal with a follow up PS. Flash's lightening charge is punishable on block and its MB version is punishable if blocked crouched.

I still lose this MU but this was the advice given to me. I hope it helps.
