The zoning only works for so long though, his back dash is good but eventually you're cornered, and a zod charge isn't to hard to catch up to. Yea you can jump 2 tick throws, thing is if you do that and I double punch like I did it's going to catch you, it's a pure guessing game. And thing is with the over head you can dash cancel it, it's honestly pretty damn hard to react to it on knockdown though, there's so many threats. Honestly a lot of the trait shenanigans was me knowing what the options were. You had a couple nice mixups I haven't seen used before though. Between blocking, venom and pushblock the trait doesn't scare me too much. Thing is against Bane as Zod, it's kind of hard to step up the defense on knockdown. It's not really a batman pressure mix up, it's a guess or you're eating another knockdown. His backdash is good for zoning, but it's honestly a curse at points in the matchup. Has quite a bit of recovery and lets me get in your face.

well i mean zod and martian have their fair share of bullshit but taking your dick and shoving it down my asshole and their being very little i can do about it feels braindead and cheap as shit. just because people don't do it doesn't mean that tis not cheap, your mixup game is the best i have seen out of almost any character in this game i am just saying bane is like fucking everything about eveyrthing type of character. Bane plays how bane shoudl though.
I am just saying their a lot of things i can do, like tightening my slow balls at ful 3/4 screen so you can armor through because of 2 hits, dash forward and backdashing with trait to use it as a whiff punish, and doing a better job dealing with the tick throw setups and getting a punish. I agree with everything your saying but i feel that if i grind out the matchup with zod and use my reactions along with guessing to level the playing field and get full combo punishes and i can make the matchup feel way different. problem is i was getting hit by more than i should. i was doing a subpar job in a lot of areas with what zod can do. A lot of matchups with zod i have done poorly in the past with and then leveled up. Your bane's mixup game in short is phenomonal.
When i look at matchups i don't go by how well i do against people i look at what happens when the matchup is down pat, and when the matchup is down pat i feel there are a lot of things zod can do vs bane i need just to personally do better in the knockdown scenario. I am not saying it isnt ridiculous on knockdown.

I actually have quite a bit of bane experience from playing one of my main sparring buddies who is a highly intelligent player who i feel should be designing these games. and i am well aware zod cna punish uppercut.
thing is bipolar express for the most part does tick throw setups which i need to work on getting out of better, coincidentally anti-static is teaching me how to deal with them better. bipolars tick throw setups are hard ot react to and pretty brutal because he does b2 into command grab which you cannot neutral jump and d2 into command grab and often i react but fail to get any sort of punish so he just armors me again. most banes do a lot of naked command grabs, bipolar onlhy does them at excellent and rare times. thats why our games were "bipolar" in a sense because my martian can wakeup and my zod can't
i have gone into the lab regarding these setups, they are still brutal because he has so many fucking options to react to and can just upperucut or overhead instead of grabbing and they are hard to punish, they can be mbb3ed on reaction but i always get pushblock online lol...
even when zod does jump its like his jump1 isn't fast enough to punish.
