What notations should be used for combos?

Yeah good call. Going meterless in a punish situation there is prob for the best.

When I blocked WW spin I would use 112 ex grapple combo, few times I wouldn't have meter tho and get 20% lol. 113 would be much better for punishing in that situation for sure.

I think all the midscreen combos using b3 should be updated with Usedforglue's method of following up with j2, 123, b23 instead of j3, b23. It looks like it adds a little extra damage to every combo.

Also here's some b23 midscreen bnbs:
b23 (BE), straight grapple = 28%/32%
b23 (BE), MB straight grapple, b3, j2, b23 = 41%/44%
b23~super = 45%/47%

I believe that it is combo specific--combos that have B3 after 4 hits or so this method will not work. I thought that I had all of the combos optimized for damage, please let me know if you find one where the method works and does more than the one listed. I tested it out on a couple, and the 123 doesn't connect, and if it did, the B23 following it was too low.

It works with the 223 starter to make it 35%/39%. I think that's the only one though.
Edit: It also works with MB straight grapple/bats into MB straight grapple/112~MB straight grapple.

I'm going to be working until tomorrow night, but I'll update then, as well as add those other combos you posted!

i dont see any 113 combos, does it suck or something?

113 f2 es grapple and go from there .i got like 30 percent off it but i know you guys could work some magic!

Just random combos I've found:

Ji1 223 b3 jk2 3 grapple - 9 hits 34%
Ji1 223 b3 jk2 ex AA grapple jk2 b23 - 11 hits 40%
Ji1 113 b3 jk2 ex AA grapple jk2 b23 - 11 hits 40%

If you don't want to end your 223 corner bnb with a slide, you can add an extra jab for 1% more damage. I feel like I could squeeze one more jab in but the timing is really tough.
223, j3, 1, 123, b23 = 35%/38%

Here's a variation of McFly's 58% corner super. I think his version is a little easier, but more damage might be possible with this set up.
j2, b23, 1, b23 (BE), b2~super = 58%

And here's a video of one of the combos I posted earlier. I think it's his biggest meterless combo for now.

Aww. I was using the battle arena for inspiration for combos and I tried the super combo he did against wonderwoman. It doesn't seem to work or is VERY tight on frames.

It seems to be:

JI2, 223, B3, J2, D4(spinny bats), B23, Super

Trouble is, you can't land the B3 after the 223. Is that just me or is it really impossible?

Landing B3 after 223 is possible--try starting the B3 earlier. It's close, but definitely possible.

It's possible, requires strict timing tough. Hit B3 as soon as you are out of the recovery of 223

i worked on something starting with f23 cause thats a very useful attack when the opponent walks towards you, it includes bats though.

f23 > bats (release after 3 hit) > dash > 123 > b23

one bat is enough, 2 give you more juggle time which might give you the possibility to b3, gotta try that out.

Not sure if it was noted yet, as I haven't read every post so far, but after 223, b3 you can summon bats before JI3.

As in: 223, b3, 4(summon bats), JI3, b2,3, 4(send bats), grapple. 41% no bars I believe

Yes the 3 is super punishable, I mostly use 113 for pressure, mostly stick to 11 to bait low pokes expecting the 3 on the end though.

but oh gosh do i hate playing botz..... they never respect risk.... which kills me inside knowing im playing the game wrong lol

I've created a punish section--I included your no meter no bats combo...thanks for posting :) Can you guys check out the other combos listed and see if I have the optimal combos? A lot of them are things that I just put together quickly--appreciate the QA

Where's TJ Combo?
Oh man, I hope batman is fixed for final build cause everyone is crying about how retarded he is... but they dont see that almost all of his strings have holes that could be full combo punish, also i dont get how his pokes work, they seem to have a very short range, plus final build will add extra time of cold down of bats....:(
