What notations should be used for combos?

Your list of credits is gayed I posted the B113 combos first on page 2 FUFUFUFUFUFU. lolz.

Has anyone successfully used EX batterang and timed a BE to land when the batterang explodes, then link into EX grapple gun? Been trying from full screen. Haven't got it to work yet.

omg why didnt't think of it earlier! guys, we need to find the max damage combos for a grounded opponent with mb up rangs since it launches and leaves you at plus 38 on block! i was reading the curbo post when i got this idea, i think it would make batman a whole lot more deadly if you had to fear a safe launcher for good damage, especially since it starts a nasty pressure game on block. imagine just throwing it out at the end of strings, your opponent tries to escape... and BLAM full combo punish. if they block still definitely worth it.

Updated :) Sorry, didn't see that post.

Side note: I know that we are speculating that 113 is punishable because of the gap between the last two hits, but now I'm not so sure. 11 leaves you at +1 on block, so the gap would have to be 7 frames for a just-frame punish with a 6 frame jab. I haven't been able to punish it in my testing. Can anyone else confirm this?

@ERR0R MACR0 what are the strings that dont have holes for JIns without hit-confirmation? so I dont get blown up by J2,223 or J1,113? does b113 have holes too?

if we are talking against people, you can make them respect 22 on block since it's plus 8, and follow up with a just frame b1 which is 9 frames and 0 on block, thats only a 1 frame gap.... and b113 launches.

also has any1 tried guard push back release bats for a full combo? i just got this idea while pooping lol

I'm speculating that none of his strings have big enough gaps to punish even with a 6 frame jab. However, here are strings that you can blow up by ducking:

First hit of 123, 113
Second hit of 223, 22

Second hit of 22 is duckable, however I think it will be hard to do if you make them respect B113.

Yeah well in this game you need to press the strings faster otherwise it wont connect and I dont see how can you hit confirm j2,223...
and how do even pokes work? I'm lost and I do play ssf4 a lot?

The strings are canned, therefore how quickly you press them does not affect them linking together. They come out at the same speed.

So in a normal high level fight if u ever get a JI would you J2, b113 most of the time? for safe pressure?

I made a post about that in the Batman general gameplay discussion. If you're going for a hitconfirm after jump in, doing B113 is your best bet. 112 is also OK on straight jump in but it often whiffs on crossup.

Both 223 and 113 can be easily mashed out of with d1. Theres no mixup or good timing needed. Just mash d1 and if theres a hole it gets blown up.

I'm checking it out right now... B113 is only -6 on block so no big deal on letting the last hit go :)

Just grabbed it:

No Meter No Bats:113, B3, J2, 123, B23 (36%/NA)

No Meter With Bats:
113, B3, J2, 123, B23 (BE)~Grapple (42%/NA)

Once we confirm that 113 isn't pokeable, we'll start building some metered versions.
yup these are probably the no meter bnbs for this demo.

d4 is like Cyrax's ex teleport...half the time it launches them toward you & half the time it launches them away. I guess we'll need to find combos with it that could work either way.

The B3, J2, 123, B23 method worked on the 112 starter as well. I think I'm going to have to individually test each combo to see what works best. I'll make an update with those later today. (Including changing the 223 version)

can you actually extend further from b3 starter than j2 123 b23 or do the juggle capabilities stay the same when b3 is the first hit?
