Oh, totally Noob Saibot. My two most favorite MK characters are Smoke and Noob Saibot. Then Rain and Sektor. So at least one of them made it into the game / base roster.
When the game comes out, I'll play through the story and then go to the practice range with Noob Saibot and start figuring his playstyle and buttons out on my own. I'm a total beginner, but I know what to look for. Then I'll make notes about all that stuff, post them here on TYM and ask for advice: What I got right, what I got wrong, what I missed, what I should be doing with Noob Saibot and so on.
I really hope that Noob Saibot will be a balanced character... or a character, who does footsies well. As a beginner I feel like I should start out with such a character to get fighting games fundamentals into my system. Now if Noob turns out to be a pure max range zoner, I feel like I would miss out on a lot of aspects, when it comes to overall gameplay. Because once a good player gets past my shadow jutsus and is in, I'm not sure if I'll be able to fight back at that point.
If Noob is a pure zoner however, he'll continue to be my main (since I don't mind zoning as a playstyle), but I'll also invest a lot of time into characters, who are balanced. Kabal might be one of those, if 16Bit is to be trusted.
