haha, they are like sweet I am out of the corner...wait...no...STAHP!!Corner swag: jip 3d12~njp, walk backwards uppercut, dash out of corner d1sb, 3d12 jk~air throw
I was hoping you'd post a video! Love that first combo. Here's some corner swag. Nothing new, but still nice to have in 1 video. 90% 1 bar combo included
Whiff teleport after the smokebomb for corner reset loops! Here's some corner swag. Nothing new, but still nice to have in 1 video. 90% 1 bar combo included
I switched to B23 32 32 F4~ex bomb a while back because I get a waaaaayyy more consistently than B23 32 3d12... The way I do it I make sure I get full dashes in between juggles and hit the F4 belt high. If you do full dashes you are in the perfect position to hit the F4 so you basically just have to execute it right after Smoke recovers from the 2nd 32 juggle. Sometimes I will just hold forward after that 2nd 32 juggle and do the F4 at the first sign of Smoke moving.Guys, what midscreen combo are you using to get the easiest / most consistent resets off of a b23 starter? I use b23, 32, 3d12, f4 ex sb. I also have messed with b23, 32, 32 f4 ex sb. I seem to be more consistant midscreen with the reset with the latter but I was wondering what you guys prefer off of b23 (midscreen). Off of 3d12 I found. 3d12, 32, 32, sb, f4 ex sb to be very consistent (wafflez combo). Also what you you think is best off of a naked midscreen sb? I am currently using 32, 3d12 f4 ex sb.
I was noticing the exact same thing with b23 32 32 f4 reset. I think I am going to be switching this to my main b23 bnb. It seems much more consistent. Thanks ribbz. I like it dude! Buffering the toasty is probably just about perfect timing for where you would have to recover in time to land the D1 bomb to continue the combo :]Been thinking about some possible setups for toasty boost combos:
In the corner:
jip, 3d12, njp, 3,2, uppercut, [ddf,2] d1~sb, f4~ex sb.
You can also land another rep of 3,2 in there if you want.
I've been able to get the uppercut in the corner down consistently. A little trick is after hitting the 3,2 you need to slight dash in so that you are positioned 'directly' under their body before you preform the uppercut. It's really easy and very consistent with 1 rep of 3,2 and I can even get it online most of the time. Still no actual toasty boost though lol.
This is my fav corner combo ATM. If you have full bars, you can reset them to death easily with f4~ex SB ftw.Been thinking about some possible setups for toasty boost combos:

Alright then.I would look into setups and how it works on certain characters but I don't know smoke that well.=(.That's actually a great anti-breaker setup! I haven't tested to see how easy it is to perform, but I would hope that the distance of the phase towards is fairly ambigious so the opponent doesn't know what side you will be continuing the combo from. You'll get that d1~sb to link for free, and you can follow up with a naked air throw for some very nice unbreakable damage. Cool idea, I will play with this more to see if I can't find some similar things.
