I'm unable to update my Brook XB1 to PS4 converter. Tekken 7 just freezes after the latest update. Very frustrating. Every time I attempt to update it, I get an error and it tells me it failed. Any suggestions?

It appears it was actually something corrupted with my download of the recent PS4 firmware (4.72). I booted into safe mode, rebuilt the database and it seems to be back in order now. Very bizarre. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

Hey folks, my Brook PS2-PS4 converter came in a few days ago and I've updated the firmware to 2.1 but I'm still getting a time-out after 8 minutes. Any advice? Has anyone else experienced this? My PS4 is on 5.01 but that shouldn't be a problem from what I've read. Thanks!

Does anyone use XBox1 to PS4 converter? I'm having such a hard time trying to update the firmware. Also, can we use the converter while being in the Insider program since it's always updating?

I use the xbox1 to ps4 converter but are you looking for the ps4 to Xbox1 converter? And yes you can use it since they rarely change the things for the controllers.What are you having a hard time with exactly?

Hey thanks for the response. Yeah PS3/PS4 to XBox1. Basically the firmware doesn't update after I follow the instructions to press button sequences. Now it's gotten to the point where the converter is not even recognized by my PC.

What color is the light on the converter (blue/pink, blue,pink?)

Ok so I followed every step until it gets to where I need to update the online file PS3PS4toXBOXONE_Online_20171013.exe. Once I do the button combination, the software stops working. I get the message that the program has stopped working.

I bought it last year in January.

Update: I managed to install it. I didn't realize that I had to temporarily disable my Virus Protector. I just updated it. Thanks to you guys who responded.

Ok now that it's updated, it won't sink the PS3 Controler to the Xbox1. It does for a little bit and then it stops.

so right after i downloaded the ps4 update ive been getting disconnected after 8 min. i have to reset my ps4 to get it to work again. i tried the most recent updates and it is still not working.
