All Brook PS4/XBox One Controller Adapters

Has anyone tried using a new Xbox One S controller with their Xbox one to PS4 converter? I got the controller in November and it never seems to be compatible with the converter regardless of how many updates come out (even though in the notes for the latest update it specifically mentions that the Xbox One S controllers now being compatible).

My friend bought a new controller (after the S came out) that has this issue. But his originalish Xbox controller works fine with the Brooks.

Yeah, I still have a controller that works fine with my converter, but the controller itself isn't functioning as well as I'd like, hence why I bought a new one just stinks that I can't use my new controller lol

I have tried multiple times. I have the update, it works with my non Xbox One S controller, but not my Xbox One S controller. My Xbox One S controller won't even connect to the PC with the converter connected to it.

As far as I know, no. Not even the XB1 controller works with a mic on PS4. So you're shit out of luck in that regard. You could just use discord. It's a free chat app with a few nice features.

Yup mine didn't work as well I bought it the day before frosty fausting and wasn't aware of the issue the guys at paradise shop was taking reinstall and pulled out a new converter to find a remedy but couldn't he said he will contact them for them to update it so it can work with this xbox one pad

Hopefully they fix it soon! Sucks, but glad I'm not the only one with this issue lol

Anyone notice the Brook converters timing out again? I've noticed mine and a friends converters are timing out...but when we played on a console without an update it did not time out.

have you updated your converter this hasn't happened to me yet but I've seen some thread about it around here and once they updated it it worked

PS4 had a stealth update recently, you need to update your converter.

Even though your converter don't have timeout, I still suggested to use the latest file on Brook website.

I looks like an original Brook converter but the back of the converter shows different text than the original.

Has the time outs stopped? You don't really hear about these things around the web, there isn't much coverage either from youtube, except from people that have received these to hype them.

Yes, once I updated it. I would never call these adapters unreliable. As the person who replied to me said, the PS4 got a stealth update that I did not think about. Once I updated the Brooks it worked just fine.

I have 3 Brooks and have used them all as recently as 7/1. They all worked fine.
