He's good. Not great, but good. Used to think he was gonna have to be played aggressively to compensate for his low hp but now I think he's more of a defensive character with the potential for offensive bursts. He has shitty range on his normals but they're good at occupying space. he's more of a counter poker with normals than a character like Karin who actively harasses with pokes. His game is classic shoto with a little bit of an ability to say fuck it and bet it all on a sequence if he feels like it. Definitely not top tier, but also definitely not a character people can sleep on in matchups.

I've recently finished the story mode and I actually liked the format better than the NRS games had. We actually could play as the entire cast at least once in including the villains. Whereas the NRS games was "each character has exactly four fights in a row, then pass the baton on to someone else.", it just ends up with everyone taking turns being godlike then useless.
And the characters that aren't playable only show up just to get beat by whoever you're playing at the time. I think should just do away with chapters and let the story flow between all characters like in SFV.

Not trying to turn this into a SF vs MK/Injustice debate. I like both series. I just wanted to give my thoughts on this.

Is the story mode good? I saw the 1st scene where nash is looking at a sheep that turns into necalli and then a magic butterfly saves nash from being raped. It was at this stage i said im out and went back to vs. So does it get better?

Lately the matchmaking in the game is taking forever to find a single match, causal or ranked, it doesn't matter, i spent more time refreshing my twitter feed on my phone, than actually playing the game, i'm about to drop this game to focus on CS again, i miss the MM aids.... LuL

It doesn't really help that we still have no idea who the fuck are the new chars, and how do they play, zero hype right now... :|

Alright im about to ask some scrub shit. How do you deal with Akumas damn jump fireball. I'd love to lab it but I'm not about to pay 6$ to do so. I main charlie. Surely there is something I can do.

Dash under. Neutral jump. Backdash. If he tiger knees it he's negative unless he's in trigger.
