General/Other Buff DS trait , its useless now .

Doombawkz

Trust me, I'm a doctor
Honestly, even as a Bane player I wouldn't mind them buffing your trait.
You guys are in the same boat as us with the drawbacks, only worse.

DS trait is like quan Quan chi's skeletal boost. For anyone who played qc knows the best way to get it off was off of trades. That's pretty much the best way I see any ds getting it off right now. I've recently seen it done in a match and honestly nobody is going to catch you every time in a match if you do it at the right time unless you do it in the most obvious moments. It can be used its just that there is no guaranteed way to set it up.. like every other unblockable.

It really depends on the character and the level of player, some characters there is no way they will not punish no matter what (aquaman, superman, flash, catwoman) but also if the player is good there should be no way for the DS payer to get off trait without get punished

Yeah I agree but that pretty much stands for every unblockable in this game. But ds has it pretty worse than others because of its function lol

Well DS can't zone for a while after trait. Plus imho none will regret if NRS redesign it somehow.

i.e. :
1) shots with an active trait may push opponent on block
2) as I know DS in comics is highly agile so trait may give full invincibility on all his wake ups (activated anytime like Aquaman)

QQ deathstroke's so low tier now isn't he.

the fact that you get unblockable guns from anywhere on the screen, no matter what the damage is, makes the trait one of the best when activated. the fact that it's hard to set up is a good thing. you already have a really good character, let the rest get balanced before you ask for buffs.

HIs trait isn't even that good when activated. I'm not even going to explain this again because you're just another Aquaman player, and an Aquaman player claiming someone else's trait to be too good is a burn it itself.

Lol excuuuuuuuse me. Armor garunteed after every combo ending with Corps Charge isn't good enough for you?
Against Deathstroke?

lolgunshot

The point in the first place is that this isn't about what trait is better than others, it's about balance. You don't need to make DS better than he already is until other chars get moved up.

Other characters have moved up.

I don't care about his trait, I just want my old guns back. :( Still, I've gotten to using his vortex more so he's okay kind of right now.

Buffing his trait wouldn't make him imbalanced. Especially when his trait got indirectly nerfed with the last patch. That's the point of this thread.

I'm not implying buffing his trait would make him S tier, it's just unnecessary when he's already beyond the level of many characters.

Usually when NRS goes on a nerfing spree, they compensate for said nerfs with a buff in return, ESPECIALLY if the nerfs directed at one playstyle interfere with the effectiveness of another. We didn't get that here. That's all we're looking for.

Would you rather have the trait start faster, last longer, or suffer no debuff?

Imagine super fast trait startup + respawning hazards. A perfect world

CY MasterHavik

Master of Chaos and Jax
NRS will not be buffing DS anytime soon. One of them even admitted in a stream chat that they have to make the game fun for everyone, not just the 300 people on TYM. They do not care what the serious player thinks. So, lets move along.
so...having them test it was just for show?

Lol. If I were to take one... startup. But that might make it broken (might).

No the testing did help a lot of things out pre realease, but even though they stated this game was for tournament player, they will put the casuals first, and I cant say that I blame them even if it is bullshit

Relaxedstate This isn't a thread about Cyborg's trait, your point is irrelevant. Make a thread about buffing his and I will gladly support it.

That depends on HOW fast it would be.

I've actually been working on how I'd create Deathstroke, it's very different but I thought you might be interested in my theorizing. :3

You know I get that it was probably the best choice for DS to have his trait be unblockable bullets when he was created but I will be honest, that is such a boring design choice lol
