Oh I know it's great, but still booster gold makes everything better... EVERYTHING
Too bad he didn't make JLI better... y'know... because it got cancelled...
Loved him in 52 though, literally the book that made me fall in love with his character.

:( It wasn't his fault the writers decided to make him... canadian for some reason, but even then I would rather read a team led by someone like booster then superman or batman tbh

But as we learnt in JLI, any team lead by anyone is actually secretly lead by Batman. Always.
Tim Drake doesn't actually exist, he's just a disguise Batman made so he could lead the Teen Titans...

You know I really liked batman better when bruce was dead and Dick took over for him... am I alone in this?

No you are not.Although I liked when Wally was Flash and when Freddy was Shazam. This days are gone, though.
Im sure people will hate me when I say this but I always thought of Bruce as a gary stue character, something out of a bad fanfiction, that's why I prefer the robins to batman imo

Nah, Bruce should definitely have stayed dead, it would have actually been the greatest thing ever. If Dick had truly taken over and Damian was his Robin it would have been genuine progression in a comic book. It would have been ground-breaking! Every time in a comic someone else takes up a famous hero's mantle, the original is back within a few months (see: Azrael)

Dick becoming Batman was literally incredible for me, as it felt like for the first time there was progression to a universe, y'know? I honestly thought they might keep it that way, and it would have been good, Bruce has been injured so many times, he died heroically and it was all so very, very good. No hero should live forever in a comic book, but sales-wise they have to. Instead of characters legit growing older etc. things get rebooted instead, and that sucks. Notice how all the older characters like Jay & Alan Scott are waaaay younger?

Best thing for me in comics recently: Death of Ultimate Universe Peter Parker, and he was a character I absolutely loved to bits! Like, I have over 100 issues with him as Spider-Man, but when he dies it is truly an awesome death, and everyone finally recognizes how great he was, and that he was just a damn kid! And the progression with Miles Morales feels so genuine!

TL;DR: Bruce should have stayed dead.

The shittiest thing is that Morrison meant for Bruce to return and be the only Batman immidietly and Dick would go back to being NW. It sucks really.

It's one of those things that everyone sort of knew was going to happen, but really didn't want to. It was such a cheap trick for more sales, but damn if it didn't work.

I know there were lots of complaints at first when Dick took over, but then it got awesome and everyone sort of just stopped complaining and started loving it. As much as I love a lot of the New 52 (it certainly made shit easier to follow) It really messed some really good stuff up.

Damian and Bruce never really worked to me, if anything Dick was more of Damien's father

I loved Umbrella Academy too, I think Way is working on some new issues sometime in the future. He's also working on a comic called Fabulous Killjoys too apparently, heavily based on the characters in his music videos.

Hmm. Difficult, basically Damian has always had a little bit of killer inside of him, this comes as a surprise to no one. Dick's death (retarded as it was) was largely accidental. Now, I can understand Brucie freaking out, I mean how do you react when one of your kids accidental kills his older brother (basically)? However, he Batman was kind of being an ass, sure he wanted the best for his kid, and he definitely wants to keep him from being a killer, who wouldn't?

Also... it's sort of like if your kid says "I think you're wrong, and I want to join the Nazi Party". It's not an easy thing to support really, especially on top of him killing your other kid. Obviously Superman isn't a Nazi or whatever but you know what I'm getting at.

You know what would be great for DC comics?
If they stopped that F#$king "Channel 52 News" segment.
It's utterly pointless and it wastes 2-3 pages that could have been more story for the issue I bought, instead of unfunny crap about what's happening in issues I don't buy.

I actually think it's a fun idea. You don't really see Ambush Bug or the other members of the cast anymore these days so it's nice to have them recap recent events in DC with it. They don't take away any of the pages from the story either because they've been the same page length for a few years now, they're just adding on to it with Channel 52.

Have they? A comic is a certain amount of pages, the amount of pages determines how much the book costs usually, hence why some titles are more expensive etc.

The main thing that annoys me is that it is so long, sometimes it spoils stuff before you read it and it's in every single issue!

We need a booster and blue beetle series, it could be either really, ted kord or jaymie

The titles that are more expensive are typically the trinity stuff such as Batman, Superman, or Justice League. They make the price 4 bucks because they know people will buy it even though it has the same content as a $3 book. Then there's some books like I, Vampire where they barely manage 18 pages but it costs $3.
