General/Other first impression: batgirl is ridiculously good

I was playing against a Batgirl 2 hours ago and man, did she kick my ass.
She is a disrespectful "in your face" character with super fast teleports and a ton of mix up's.

A very interesting, fast and mobile character and on the first glance easily more viable than Lobo.
Too bad I would never play her, because she is a female character.

Is it just me or is she a hard counter to superman. He is not zoning her with lasers. And she escapez the f23 breath lop for free with bat evade. If superman goes for another f23 after he does breath she is gonna punish him with bat evade 3 into a hard knock down. Not to mention she haz her own mini superman loop with f21 bf3.

She does seem like a good character, I think the damage is just right, but the combos are hard to pull off.
She isn't my cup of tea though, so I'm just going to stick with Bats and Catwoman.

I can't help but feel I've wasted money on Lobo/Batgirl because I probably won't play either much. Not complaining, I'm not saying they're a waste of money, just for me they might be.

I kind of know what you mean... but I need to play the shit out of them to make sure they weren't a waste of money. :16Bit

Ha, that's probably the best thing to do. But I'm not good enough a player to play characters that don't suit me well and still be alright at them, so if I use one that I suck with the game won't be very fun for me, so I can't say I will play Lobo/Batgirl much, unfortunately. I still am happy I bought them though, but I will have to consider what future DLC for Injustice I buy more though.

So this character has 40% BnBs, setups and restands up the ass, great strings, great 50/50's, anti-zoning special that pretty much negates zoning, and an 8 frame mid combo starter.

This character must obviously be bad, since Lobo has the command grab setups, 50% BnBs, high damage 50/5o's, a TK divekick that's safe, a legit anti air that doubles as a spacing tool, and MB Hook Charge, right guys? These DLC characters are bad and NRS should feel bad.

Real talk, this character is legit. I can't wait to put more time into her. I only had enough time to learn a restand reset and a setup using Bat-Evade 1 followup.

On second though, combo into bola j2 111 standing reset is jokes, I'll mess with her more. I still think she'll have issues with good footsie characters but w/e.

Yeah I don't get that either. Does it really matter if the character you're playing is a man or woman or creature? You're still playing a bunch of pixels on screen, a hunk of data on a disc either way. They're no real and it's not like you're going out dressed like them so what's the big deal?

People are weird. :/

It is just the way things work... just like some people are character loyalists... what is the point in that?:16Bit

To me people who start playing an MMO / RPG / any other game where you can create a character and create a female character are weird.
Why would you do that?
I personally would try to create / play a character I can identify with at least a little bit. Therefore I never play female characters / black guys / asian guys / robots, because I'm a white, humanoid male :-|

That's awesome man. I wish more people were so terrified of identifying with anything other than themselves that they couldn't even play a video game as something different. Truly we would live in a paradise.

I just think it's weird. I mean when I play something like Prototype or Metroid or Deadly Creature I don't give a fuck if I'm playing a man or woman or a spider. I just play the damn game for fun and maybe a decent story. It's like refusing to watch an action movie simply cause the main hero is a women. Who cares? It's still an action movie, guns and explosions everywhere.

People act like it somehow says something negative about them to play someone who is different then them, shit imagine if someone said they refused to play someone simply cause they're a different skin color then the character (yes I'm aware that happens too).

I just don't see the big deal. :/

Character loyalty I can at least actually understand, cause it's someone you grew up watching or playing or something.
