On topic; congrats to Aris, and I share the sentiment that as the game progresses there will be more character variety. It's pretty natural to go with the apparent/easy strong characters this early, as more tech is worked out things will change I think.

Im suspended on gamefaqs but it has nothing to do with IGUA. I made someone rage on the NBA boards i made one little joke about putting a dog in a microwave and it got me suspended.

He also got more years cause he took less money. And more guaranteed money. Hes still among the highest paid players in the league.

All these people complaining and not many of them seem to understand how much execution either of these characters really take. Go ahead and learn the Superman 70% corner combo. Then even if you're lucky enough to get into that situation against a good player, try use it on stream with 4k people watching you while thinking "this may be the only chance I get to hit this person, I need to make it count". Then see if you can actually execute that combo. It's easy to call people out when you're not in the same situation. Sure you can pick Superman or Adam and beat bad players online with no execution, but that isn't going to work against tournament players.

Err, that 70% combo is ridiculously easy. Lobo's BnBs are harder. The only hard part of the combo is hitting someone with the j.d3 but there are so many other starters that are safe/practical where you'll instead be getting 63-67% instead. I started playing Superman 2 nights ago and within 2 hours of training mode I could do it consistently. Today I smacked multiple people with it ONLINE in lag. I can't even do Lobo's EX Czar Throw b.3 in lag but the 64% is no problem. Most of these players have been playing in tourney on stream for years. Jitters should not be much of a factor, execution on this combo definitely shouldn't be either.

Can I copyright my superman combos? I told everyone I would break that character and everyone laughed and said he sucked when he was even better before the game came out. Smh at all you people that think its so easy then go to tournaments and get bodied and.probably go 1-2 and say "oh yeah I won 1 proved my point supes is broke durp anyone could pick him up"

I wasn't talking about the combo being difficult. I'm saying it requires execution. Lobo's combo isn't more difficult than superman's trait cancel combo. The key word in your post is online. Where most players don't know anything about spacing, and have no idea how to adapt. It's fine though, while all of you are complaining about how cheap Adam and Superman are, Aris is adapting to fighting against them and winning tournaments. Like I said, it's easy to point and people at talk trash when you aren't in that situation yourself. You aren't going to beat good players with that attitude.

No offense and I'm not trying to look cool/elitist or anything but Superman's corner combo is the easiest 70% combo I've ever learned, outside of I guess abc launch abc slam super dhc in mvc3 if that even counts. I'm not sure what you mean by it requiring execution because anyone who plays fighting games regularly can do that combo. And Aris is just a better player than anyone else I've seen at WNF or the other local tournies in socal, it shows in the matches.

My point was not to say the combo was difficult. My point was to explain the combo requires execution and positioning. Meaning the people that are complaining about Superman wouldn't be able to just pick him up and win a tournament. Chef got 2nd with a day 2 Superman because he is a good player, not because Superman is an easy button. You don't look cool or elitist. Replying to a post with "hahahahaha", then proceeding to put down the entire So Cal community just makes you look stupid and childish.

What exactly are you trying to argue? Rationalizing Superman just makes you look ignorant. He's clearly a god character. Are you saying that Superman is ok how he is? When compared to 90% of the cast? And how is saying that Aris looks like the best player in Socal right now, putting down Socal? He's a good player, period. Someone has to be the best.
