It only makes sense that players will pick the most powerful characters in the game. If you want to win, you're not incentivized to pick an average character... not when you have someone like Superman who, at this time, outclasses a majority of the cast with half the effort.

Over the next few months, if people keep playing this game, we'll see if the current top tiers are truly that dominant or if we'll find that a large majority of the cast is competitively viable.

They can do whatever they want, But at the end of the day that does not help the FGC, the scene or the game.. All it does is help them get a top spot.. If anything it hurts all of those things.. No one wants to watch a bunch of Supermans and Black Adams..

If people are tired of seeing Superman and Black Adam win. Then those people can level up, pay their way to a tournament and beat those characters. Otherwise, they can stop complaining.

here we go lol. bane has great mix ups and level 1 venom makes him a tank...

Bane has horrible normals, no projectile, no viable way of getting in, no real way to stop people from running aside from chasing, level 1 venom doesn't give him the damage or durability he needs to be viable.

He has to suffer a 70% damage reduction, 50% mobility drop, and 50% increased damage taken for 6 seconds just to do what Superman gets to do for free.

I'll hype Bane all I can, but you are ignorant of the actual situation. Try taking Bane to a tourney with competent players and see how much of a tank he is and how those mix-ups work for you.

Daigo the man whom has not only existed within his community through thick and thin for longer than anyone else, but chose to play a character that was effective and balanced instead of lopsided.

Reo is cool, don't put him on blast. Bane has midscreen 100%'s without interactables off of a single 50/50 guess that are nearly inescapable unless you know your character inside and out. All for level 2 venom, or a 1-3 stretch if you feel ballsy. The game is balanced but new, people who aren't willing to look away from the top never see those upon which they sleep.

Justin Wong who used Spiderman, Felicia, characters that normally got no love and respects his opponents enough to use his main team (whatever it may be) while FChamp and others were trolling with secondary teams. The guy earned his stripes.

So yeah, probably those guys.

Because considering how balanced people SAY this game is, they expected to see more variety in tournaments.We'll see at UFGT if we see more variety, if not maybe this game isn't as balanced as Tom and Reo claim it is.....I certainly don't think its that balanced.

Yeah, but I'm talking about user friendly characters versus technical characters.

Not everyone can buy a football team, or become president. But everyone can attend a tournament, any tournament. it's an open invitation that anyone can go to.

The Euros have it right. BlAdam still won but look at that character diversity in the picks. They know whats up, just behind on tech is all.
