Well...I wouldn't underestimate a supreme ability to control the air space in this game...
Doesn't mean anything to a guy who can touch the ceiling and dash faster than you can hope to fly.
so with that said it wouldn't be difficult to stop this alleged dashing into said buffers with a moderately timed mace (diagonal or straight), not to mention her Mace Charge is fast, covers a lot of distance, and can and will stop opponents in the air.
Moderately timed mace is going to be hard when we cover half the screen in one quick dash and have armor right after, which by the by eats your mace and you. Air is unnecessary since we don't need to go air-to-air against you.
She could avoid Bane in the corner while he is below her...
Lets take it from the top.
Mace Charge to escape or stomp to check him.
Both lose to venom upper flat out. If you mace charge we just keep dashing after you, so you won't gain any distance.
Wake ups...all of her moves (Mace Charge and Wing Evade) are safe.
No such thing. If it can't break armor, its not safe.
She has a solid ground game (mix ups) plus her 6frame D1 that has hella reach and interrupts everyone in this game...
See above. If it can't break armor, its useless.
not to mention her trait IS VIRTUALLY continuous...once she hits the ground she can immediately go into flight again which is another 6 seconds or so in the air...
Too bad you fly far too slowly to get away. That landing into reflight? We are already hitting you with an upper and you can't do a thing about it.
Keep in mind I'm not suggesting Bane sucks nor his representatives. My tone is not argumentative...

I'm just saying with my experience playing good Bane's I had no problem controlling the air or fighting him on the ground.
"Good" Banes is a relative term. Its doubtful the Bane was good from what you claim of full-screen charges.
HawkGirl is seriously under looked in this game...
