I think Wake Ups are fine in MK and I use a character that doesn't have really good ones...That is one of my major concerns with IGAU, wake ups in MK9 are fucking busted.

You right you right.Hitboxes + Angles.. lol.
I just simplified it, but yeah.
http://testyourmight.com/threads/the-differences-between-injustice-and-mk9.27695/i haven't seen any wake up moves so maybe it isn't even a part of the game
Batman is going to be the oki character dude trust me on this, those Batarangs are going to be godlike. There will definitely be wake ups, but hopefully they are just set ups differently.Lol at 13 frames of invincibility, Fuck that. I wanna chase someone down on knockdown, not stay still and block lol.

Thanks man. I didn't see that before.
Batman honestly has everything an OP character needs. Just give him 24 low hat.Batman is going to be the oki character dude trust me on this, those Batarangs are going to be godlike. There will definitely be wake ups, but hopefully they are just set ups differently.

I can't wait to play him. I bet he can thrive hardcore on the knock down.
It's gonna be sweet learning all these new characters lol. I love that the combo possibilities are practically endless nowHe will be really good dude no doubt in my mind about that. I can't wait to play this game I'm going to have so much fun!
It seems like everything is going to be cancelable and a lot of enhanced specials all seem to juggle. It looks great. It's gonna be sweet learning all these new characters lol. I love that the combo possibilities are practically endless now
As long as you have meter, looks like your good to go.It seems like everything is going to be cancelable and a lot of enhanced specials all seem to juggle. It looks great.
With how much it seems you need to use in order to continue combos I would imagine pretty quickly. As long as you have meter, looks like your good to go.
I wonder how fast it builds
I hope so hahaWith how much it seems you need to use in order to continue combos I would imagine pretty quickly.
Injustice doesn't look like it plays anything like MK9. It has some slightly similar aspects, but that's it.I really disagree. Same combo system, same pacing and style of game, and similar fighting engine/juggles/gravity/inputs/etc. -- I think we'll be kidding ouselves if we say that no skills from MK9 will be useful in Injustice. Lets be real.
Just because a Breaker becomes a Clash and an X-ray becomes a Super Move doesn't mean that suddenly MK9 players will feel like fish out of water.
Man, there are plenty of additions -- but underneath it all is the dialed-string, mo-capped, Unreal-based game engine with the same sort of juggle/gravity combo system, breaker-ish meter mechanic, xray-like moves, and similar style and feel of gameplay. This is awesome because it's both familiar and new at the same time.Injustice doesn't look like it plays anything like MK9. It has some slightly similar aspects, but that's it.
Sure, MK9 players will feel comfortable and the game will be familiar to them. The game has similar looking aspects, and similar gameplay elements. The problem will be, is that since they're familiar and it looks similar in some aspects, they will play it like MK9. That's when you'll get frustrated. I know a lot of people who only played either SF or MK, and them trying to play the other game. MK players playing SF like MK, SF playing MK like SF. And they all failed miserably at first, because instead of just applying the fundamentals, they tried to play the entire game like it was something that it wasn't.Man, there are plenty of additions -- but underneath it all is the dialed-string, mo-capped, Unreal-based game engine with the same sort of juggle/gravity combo system, breaker-ish meter mechanic, xray-like moves, and similar style and feel of gameplay. That's different from moving to EWGF, hit-confirm only or link-based strings, much faster animation style with smaller frame windows, air-blocking, chain one super into another, double dp-style inputs etc. Those are things that would cause drastic differences in gameplay and feel.
I think that MK players will feel right at home as they make adjustments for the new improvements and elements of gameplay that Injustice offers.
Yeah, they can. Out of all the footage of players playing the game so far though, MK players have looked by far the best. But a lot of that is because of how we adapted to MK9. Think back to someone that's just starting the game and has trouble doing Jax's quad slam, linking ermac's jk into teleport, landing a Cyrax reset, doing double-divekick combos or doing Sonya's BnB. That's all stuff that a lot of people take for granted now -- but only because we've all gotten used to the gravity, timing, and inputs of this engine since 2011.Perhaps based on only seeing the surface, I would agree with you. But, looks can be deceiving.
Based on 1-2 weeks of time with the game isn't enough time to make a case for either side. And we don't know which person played which characters, and even if we did, the matches are rigged by the votes, lol. Weak argument my brother.Yeah, they can. If you say so.I agree about playing each game to its fullest potential. You won't be able to just pick it up and dominate without learning the game. But anyone new to this engine will have to start from where we started with MK9.. So I'm glad that I won't be starting completely from scratch again.
Not the battle arena -- I meant the people like J360 that played the game live, at places like NYCC, and were already creating complex setups within 5 minutes of starting to play the game even though they were only allowed a couple rounds worth of time.Based on 1-2 weeks of time with the game isn't enough time to make a case for either side. J360 is/was elite level Mahvel 2 player, fundamentals come a long way.Not the battle arena -- I meant the people like J360 that played the game live, at places like NYCC, and were already creating complex setups within 5 minutes of starting to play the game even though they were only allowed a couple rounds worth of time.
