Throwing Smoke Bombs full screen, Shake projectiles, Invisibility, Air Grab and Smoking Away that builds free meter for Breakers. Smoke players have this luxury. Shame on them since there are characters who can't build meter by playing like a lame turtle.

Smoke can also do shake cancels fullscreen vs. a lot of the cast which is by far his fastest form of meter building. He just continuously cancels them into backdashes, but if he wants to be cheeky he can back jump and cancel that to a very low air grab for more meter and NO RECOVERY FRAMES, a smoke away, or even a random jump in/smoke bomb/dash in b2, d4, or grab to check his opponent. It's really fucking broken vs. a lot of chars and I think I'm the only smoke that does it D:

At fullscreen vs certain characters? Yeah, it's totally viable. I'm not talking about shake cancels off of strings, those are gimmicky as shit. This is a legitimate meter building tool for smoke in a lot of MUs, Sub Zero suffers HELLA BAD vs this. I just recorded and am uploading a video about it right now as a matter of fact. When it's processed I will put it here as well as make a thread in the Smoke forum.

B2 is overrated. It's easy to see coming man, 15 frames is slow and you never have a reason to block low on Smoke. Think about this, what does Smoke attack with???? Random SB and b2...2 is a joke unless for anti air and his other strings are so slow. So you have a character that can only throw a projectile that doesn't chip and a overhead that you can bait and jump over. Cdjr won with grabs when he played Smoke. Cdjr is just that good and knew grabbing was the only other mix up. Not only is smokes offense limited as hell....his defense doesn't even exist. Cage beats smoke free, especially in tournaments. It's hard to outplay when your character can only do so much. Smoke resembles a punching bag.
