What build is that pic from? I'm guessing it's not a current/final build since the layout looks the same (after all the talk of it being a decoy) and there's a lot of open spots (MK9 didn't have that many locked characters, I'd assume Injustice wouldn't either). I thought it might be the build they'll be showing at PAX, but then again it seems like an awful lot of characters for that sort of thing.

Probably... still makes me sad Flash and Aquaman are left out on the villains side of things... although with Pako confirming alt. voice actors for alt skins a Ocean Master skin seems pretty likely.

As I've stated elsewhere, I'm not sure I buy this being the full select screen.

No space for DLC/Extras. Has to be at least one more row imo.

no idea why they think its 24 characters they even said they haven't revealed half the cast when they had 12 characters shown

The file name is "bg.content.png" so I wouldn't be too concerned. Likely background NPCs in a stage we haven't seen or maybe even a DLC stage they've got up their sleeves, I dunno. Story mode, maybe?

The one with the sword and the big mask looks like it could be Chesire? someone else suggested Felix Faust for the left?

It would be great if there was a stage with a bunch of villains in the background cheering and jeering as you fought, and you could throw them into the crowd as an interaction, sort of like a better version of the stage transition in Arkham...

All that the leaked character select screen says to me is that there will be secret/unlockable characters. Seems easy enough to just add a row of them and adjust the screen size.
We basically know 100% thanks to Hector that there will be "close to MK9 numbers". 4 unlockable characters will just create rows of two on the bottom of each side. The third spot on each side could just be DLC slots like in MK9

Also Green Lantern with Sinestro and Solomon Grundy.

But makes you wonder, why Flash, basically the hero with the best rogue gallery in DC comics doesn't get even one personal enemy :-|
I'm telling you, Captain Cold will be playable in the game.

I didn't count Grundy because hes more of every ones villain now not just Green Lanterns

Captain Cold has a pretty good chance on being in Injustice and yes Flash has some of the best villains ever
