Hey listen to me, I can compare anyone to whoever I want, it's my fucking opinion. All of those players are amazing and I know how good they are. But most of them don't main Kabal, so in my opinion, they don't count as good candidates to compare MUs. So stop wasting my time.

I accepted people's criticism. How many people do you know have put MU charts up then later realized some of their numbers were wrong.

#everytime he wins a match he rolls around the ground like he's having a seizure

I am a fledgling Kenshi so take my opinions with a grain of salt. I'll state the ones I differ with, and there is 1 that I agree with.

Sektor. 6-4 Kenshi. Sektor has a better time against Kenshi than most of the cast. Attempting to spirit charge sektor when he is jumping at you can sometimes lead to him teleporting for full combo. When Sektor is hit by charge for full screen knockdown Kenshi has to be wary of wakeup teleport for decent damage. Up missiles don't reflect back so that does open some interesting reflect games. On telefurry trades, where Kenshi usually is at advantage, doesn't work against regular missile because it knocks Kenshi down. Kenshi's corner game is amazing, but Sektor can use 1 bar of meter to get out of the corner, although he is now -6 many characters would love to have this option against Kenshi to get out of the corner.

Raiden. 5-5. A Raiden that uses teleport to it's full potential is a nightmare for Kenshi. An example of this would be right around max distance spirit charge range. If Kenshi guesses right he is rewarded with 9% damage. If he guesses wrong and Raiden teleports Kenshi eats about 40%. Raiden is also one of the harder characters to zone as well.

Noob Saibot. 7-3 Kenshi. I don't really see what Noob can do that is an actual threat. The risk reward seems to be insanely in Kenshi's favor. A jumped over running clone leads to 39%. If you guess wrong and eat an upclone and the appropriate follow up it is still in your favor. If Noob thinks you are going to jump and does an upclone you can whiff punish with f3,2, for 26%. Also his teleport against your zoning is also in Kenshi's favor. 36% for Kenshi on a blocked teleport and like 11% for Noob if his teleport wins.

Kung Lao. 5-5. This is actually the match I have run the most as Kenshi. It feels like a very fair fight to me. Everything that seemingly destroys Kenshi, Kenshi actually has an answer for. This being said, I believe that Kung Lao has an easier time in this match. What I mean by this is, it is still a 5-5, but the pressure to perform is on Kenshi, he has to play on point or he will be overwhelmed quickly. You could say then that well Kung Lao has to be on point as well to make it a 5-5 but I don't think so. The inputs for Kung Lao and his general strategy in this MU is just easier to do. An example is the crossover teleport games that Kung Lao can do in this MU. The timing of what Kenshi has to do to get out is harder than what the KL is inputting. Another example is when you have KL knocked down full screen. You can do an overhead slash and beat his wakeup teleport but again the burden to perform is on Kenshi with his tighter window to hit that, and if Kenshi messes up he eats close to 40%.

Kitana. 7-3 Kenshi. 16bit plays this MU so well. If you mistime your barge say goodbye to 47% of your life. If you time it right you get 9%, but then Kitana does have to go through 2 zoning attacks to get back to where she wants to be. Walking back is key in this MU against Kitana, but be wary you are also walking yourself into a corner.

Kabal. 6-4 Kabal. Kenshi does have a better time against Kabal than practically any character in the game. Basically I think it comes down to meter in this MU. If Kenshi could build meter in this MU as fast as Kabal does then I would totally agree that this MU is 5-5. But the fact of the matter is I can find no solid way to build meter in this MU. Anytime I have Kabal knocked down full screen and he has a bar, I am scared to death of attempting zoning. And if Kenshi can't zone he can't build meter. So if Kenshi wants to build meter he has to get in, which means he has to wade through all that zoning. There have been many times when I play soonk and when I win the round, I look at the meter and Kenshi is completely drained, and Kabal is at x-ray. Also do you guys honestly think that if Reo is on point with his standing 2 infinite's that you will say this is a 5-5? The saving grace in this MU is Kenshi destroys Kabal when Kabal is cornered.

Johnny Cage 7-3 Kenshi. I have a hard time playing against Dizzy. That is all.

Cyrax. 6-4 Cyrax. I will admit that I am not playing this MU correctly right now but Han does extremely well against me. I need to watch some Pig fights and see what he does. I believe that if you actively try to stay in barge range, you can destroy cyrax. Just don't mistime one, or say goodbye.

Master Jeremiah bringing the thread back on topic.

Honestly with Noob people still are not taking advantage of how horrible his shadows recoveries are. You have nearly 18 frames after you jump one.

let me first ask u this before i get into it

What are YOUR opinions and MU # on smoke vs shang
smoke vs shang is one of my least known matchups, but its probably 7-3 in smoke favor, atleast 6-4 smoke.... shang would have to rely on soul steal which isnt fast enough on startup to beat smoke bomb trades... his forward dash speed is mediocre at best so smoke would limit him in the footsie game pretty well especially with the smoke bomb in the footsie game.... shang would have to rely on his pressure game... but getting that would be difficult and hes no johnny cage upclose... also shangs trademark corner traps would be null... so smoke doesn't have to fear the corner as much.... shang is limited when hes forced to rushdown quite a bit.... soul steal would be his only saving grace. Smoke also does a shitload of damage and builds meter in this matchup better...
edit- can't smoke interrupt f4*gs with shake??? theres a gap in that correct... and shake has 1 frame startup... that would confirm the matchup being 7-3
