Because the DLC content team gets started while the primary team is finishing up.

I doubt there will be a demo, the MK9 demo allowed people access to a txt file containing every character in the retail game.
They were not happy about that leak.

Bottom of the second page seems to imply that frame data is in the movelists! :O At least startup frames. idk what "breakout" frames are.​

Also pretty much confirms Aquaman, and third page sounds like it confirms Ares... they're talking about turning Ares into a "badass" and getting away from the "Batman/Superman show" but that ain't gonna happen with a non-playable character.​

So Aquaman, Shazam, Sinestro, Doomsday, and Ares are in the game? Ares might be a Boss character? Lots of Injustice news lately...

Ares and Doomsday are Boss characters, Sinestro and Black Adam are probably alt skins with there own voice .
That leaves two taken spots on the roster by Aquaman and Shazam.

They keep saying not everyone in the story mode will be playable, but I'm not sure what that means for these characters.

They way they talk about Ares and Aquaman in that article really implies they would be playable, Sinestro has to be playable or he wouldn't be in a cutscene anyway cause hes a fucking alien who has no buisness being there in the first place. Doomsday is on the stick, and Boon hinted he was playable in a tweet.

So that leaves Black Adam and Shazam, but if one was playable, the other would just be an alt, and Captain Marvel was in MKvsDC, so it would be weird to not have him playable.

W/e probably going to have to wait 3 months to see whats up.

God no, Ares is terrible, but they are talking him up pretty hard in that article, wanting casuals to like him and Aquaman.

Black Adam/Shazam should be the same character, Sinestro and GL should not, and won't be. Sinestro would have a far more interesting moveset then boring ass hal.

Well they could make the Lantern character use Axe's, chainsaw and hammers....
Something in between Hal and Sinestro and make the finisher cutscene different like a jet for Hal and big yellow T-rex for Sinestro
and with there own voice. Wouldn't mind Sinestro as his own i think his a better lantern than Hal anyway.

I think also the fact that babalities were in the game were known from that file.

The way Adam Urbano talked up Ares makes me more interested in the character. I've heard of Ares, never was too familiar with him. From what I looked up about him, that Blue and black he wears looks pretty bad ass and his powers are pretty neat. Will play as him for sure.
