Question The Character you will never play?

Kenshi, because he's boring as fuck
Freddy, same as above
Kratos, so slow and not fun
Sheeva, same as above

That's about it, I like all the others, I just suck with most of them haha

Some people will never appreciate the art of zoning. Or getting 50% off a jip for a bar of meter...

Why? I generally dislike playing female characters but I make exceptions if they're fun.

Mine are -
Kenshi - I still don't even have him downloaded
Freddy - I only downloaded him so me and Winter Warz could test some things before Evo. A Nightmare on Elm Street is one of my favorite classic horror movies, but I still have a serious problem with bringing him into the game.
Scorpion - because I never like using the big, popular characters in video games if I have the choice not to (even though he's not in the competitive scene)

There aren't any characters in this game whos playstyle I just dislike though. I like rushing down and I like zoning.

What could the problem be? All I've ever wanted is to be able to pick Freddy in a fighting game. The day they announced Freddy is the day my sad speck of a life gained meaning.

I think somebody may have had a midnight sneaking unlce...that or you just got zoned too hard...they are both traumatic.

I don't see myself ever playing Kung Lao. I just got so sick of seeing so many Laos when the game started and I have no desire to play the character. Also kabal because honestly it looks like my fingers would hurt from all of the frantic button pressing from ndc pressure and iagbs.

Freddy Kreuger: To this day I still have no idea why he is in this game... Waste of a character slot if you ask me.

Kinda like this was a waste of thread space. He's in the game NRS could and because he's a brutal murderer. How do people fail to see the correlation to mortal kombat?

Jade - Too much work.
Smoke - Tried him, and he just doesn't float my boat.
Freddy - I tried picking him up, but his combos are really weird, and complete zoning bores me.

Zoning owns...and his creepy pedosmile on the character select screen...i think people are just scared...

I would never play Kenshi or Freddy at a seriou level. Playstyles are too boring. Every other character is somewhat enjoyable to play.

EDIT: I would use kenshi because its fun pissing people off with super armor.

I see I'm not the only one who thinks freddy seems completely out of place in this game, I doubt I'll bother downloading him either. I think they should have went with the UMK3 look for Kano, it looked kind of like you were kicking ass with Jean-Luc Picard, or maybe Locutus of Borg.

No Freddy belongs in this game. Sorry mk isnt a sci fi thriller

Veering off-topic for one post right now; I want to say some things.

My hypothesis is that NRS wanted to show Warner Bros. some appreciation for pulling Midway out of the shithole, reforming them into Nether Realm Studios, and supporting them in their Mortal Kombat endeavors. Thus NRS developed Freddy as an MK character.

Another thing: Some former employees of NRS also work at Santa Monica Studios (God of War devs), so the collaboration was no doubt quite an experience for both parties.
