Has anybody tried one of the new 360 pads that rotate? I've been thinking of getting one because I heard they're better, but I don't really want to drop $60 if it's not a huge improvement.

Yeah, I saw that. Unfortunately, I play MK9 on PS3 and lack a dual-modded stick. Add to that the fact that I've been playing this game on pad lately, there's not much of a point in showing up to an event an hour and a half away to play at less than 100% on a borrowed stick. Thanks for looking out anyway, kona. If I didn't live an hour away from where everyone meets during the week and work 2nd shift, then I'd be able to make it out to more shit. By the way, I thought I heard that the 360 version of MK9 could only operate with the hotfixes in tact when connected to XBL? I'm guessing that's wrong since all these events up here are on 360, but I'm sure I had read that somewhere a while back.

Being a pad player as well (for MK only), it's gonna suck playing on 360 but I'm going to give it my best for now on a 360 pad. I also share you concerns for the balance patches being saved on the 360. I'm looking to save up money to get that converter I posted earlier but unemployment makes it hard to save up for anything. D:

Tom says he has no problem with it if people want to show up with PS3's for MK9 in Lowell tomorrow. I'll probably be in attendance. See you all there.

Wish i coulda stayed to watch the rest but my ride was being a bit of a pain im not sure why he didnt join up it was a good time :)
PWA's fight night is on this Tuesday right? Ill probably be there hope to see most of you again.

yea your kitana is tough but i finally figured her out lol... anyways the next souper bowl tom will not be running MK so that means someone else has to run it now... so i hope more People will show up next time
