When I used to say Cyrax was top 5 people branded me as some random keyboard warrior talking $hit. Oh "damage is not everything", "He has too many bad matchups" bla bla bla. LBSH is Sheeva remains the way she is and has Cyrax damage output she would be top 10.

I think he meant that in context of KL's match-ups. Brady was asking him about KL's bad match-ups, and brought up Liu Kang, which is why PL said he switched to another character. It wasn't so much an excuse as it was putting things in perspective in terms of match-ups (as in he didn't say you beat him because he picked a different character). In fact, on twitter he said you out-played him (which he almost never says lol). Don't be so sensitive man. You 3-0'd him, there are no room for excuses.
You have to practice with someone, and it's preferable if they're high level players.

Pl really lacks a scene, he has a point, kung lao doesnt destroy the whole cast like everyone says. imo he is 4-7. and thats still really good. kabal, kenshi, cyrax are better than him imo. kung lao ties with cage and sonya

Cage only loses to 4 characters: kabal, kenshi, freddy en subzero, the rest of the cast he either destroys or goes even with. Half of the top players have sonya above kung lao right now. if kung lao is that godlike why dont you play him? its because you dont know what youre talking about.
Jr overrates his ability. I'm not saying he's not a good player - he is most likely top 3 but goes overboard when talking about other people's characters. First he set out to show the world how easy it was to play and win with Kabal - he got bodied by PL in the final - after which he set out to show the world Lao was the best and he failed some more. Jr should just accept that REO and PL have what they have and nobody can take it away from them, especially not him (Jr).
I don't think Cage loses to Sub Zero. I think if the match is played like it is supposed to be it can be a 5-5. Sub definitely has the advantage in the corner though.
that is an arguable matchup, but gives even more reason to say cage is next to kung lao and sonya. how can a character that only loses 3/4 matchup and destroys the rest of the cast or at least goes even not top5 or near top 5? kenshi loses to kung lao, kabal, maybe cyrax, no on argues kenshi is not top 5.
I have never argued against Cage being an awesome character. I don't think he has all the tools to be in the top 5, but he is probably just outside of it, and some of the tools he does have give him a huge comeback factor.
