he takes a lot of hits to win, but rely on mostly block damage and keeping the rush down. you basically want to abuse his dragon kick passthrough cross up, which is effective on almost everyone barring stuffing moves like kabal's spin. getting in for kang is easy. the idea is to rush down hard, then fall back to fortress status and sniff out RH's.
tactics
if aa.RH connects -> low fire
if his ground combo hits (i use both knee starter and hp starter) mixup with low fire, fake low fire (they jump) aaRH -> low fire, and dragon kick.
for offense, get close, rj xx dragon kick (passthrough crossup), then mixup with rj xx dragon kick (throw check). this offense provides a throw check with mobility and a crossup at the same time. sick stuff here.
knee combo attempts are good when you have them on lockdown. stop on the third hit and go into the rj xx dragon kick offense
you can do late jk xx dragon kick (passthrough crossup) then run up and do the rj xx dragon kick offense (throw check)
after throws, do low fire and mixup with fake low fire (they jump) aa.RH -> low fire
against teleporters and punsihment mode doods, bait them out and hphp jk air fire dragon kick. its easy for kang cos hes mostly defensive.
you can sneak charge the bike kick like kano, but his sweep sucks, so you really shouldnt sweep charge that often. instead, do the 4 hit leg combo and sneak in the charge off the last hit. usually when i have a charge im doing the rj xx dragon kick offense looking for an opportunity.
try those for now
