I would imagine seeding is done with tournament results.

As far as getting top 8s, Pool D is the only one with one player that has gotten top 8 at a majors, being Pig.

Seeding is not done on personal opinion of players. If you feel as though other players are stronger than Chris G and myself, that is fine and you can debate that if you want. But when it comes to seeding, you can't claim that the "seeding is wrong" because your personal opinions.

If Pig and myself were switched and then instead you feel that D would be the weakest instead of F then you know its your personal feelings getting involved.

We will take a look at the seeding issue tonight with F being "light" and H being "heavy", but there are a few other considerations that can block a potential switch (like pool overlaps). I will, however, give it a look and see if something is possible.

the only thing we can really ask is that for next year (if were even there and if medina is still doing this) see what you can do about getting him privileges to stream mk. if nothing can be done then fine, but attempting to give us that would be appreciated

Why are people saying F is the weakest? D is by far the weakest pool (no offense).

F has Chris G (around 10, including a 1st), Dizzy (2?), Justin Wong (5ish, PDP win)

D has Pig (2?) and BlueNine (1)

(I listed people who have gotten top 8 at high level tournaments only)

Lets look at the others:
G- Cdjr (a lot, including mlg 1st place), IKizzile (1, but got 1st), Peanuts (1), Medina (2?)
H- Reo (a lot, including evo), Kevo (2, but got 1st), 16bit (3, including evo, and a MAJOR WIN)

In one pool, you have three people who have won a major! In another pool you have two. In a third you have one. In pool D you have ZERO.

Not only does G and H look imbalanced, but the whole bottom half of the overall bracket looks lopsided unless things are going to change once top 8 is achieved. Reo and CDjr on the same side of the bracket... hmm...

I also think G is just has stacked as H; both could have players moved to D if scheduling allows. Hell, if I was making the brackets I would probably move Kevo or Kizzile to D - the other goes to F in replacement of Moe or Justin Wong.

No. I mentioned the contractual obligations without any hint of assuming you should know, because you shouldn't unless you've talked to Medina. I hit you with the question mark when you were saying "Where is this contract posted", because that question makes no sense.

The interested parties know what is up. Medina knows and has talked about it for months, including live on his own streams from GGA.

The people coming out to stream are already splitting attention between eachother, and in case you were not aware, streaming isnt exactly making anyone real money. It was only fair to them to make sure they were the exclusive stream providers at UFGT8. Medina came to me far too late for me to change that.

If, next year (if we have MK at all and Medina is still doing his thing) you guys want him to do a dedicated stream, it will make scheduling the main stream(s) much easier for me anyway. But come at me early about it. I don't do stuff last minute.

2) I actually bumped into Forever King on Xbox Live, a few days ago. When I asked him if he was going to UFGT, he said that he would but he couldn't find a ride. Granted, this conversation took place back on Friday so there's always the chance that things can change and he can make it after all.

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling PL is pretty much done with MK and is concentrating on the coming DoA game. Ohio's success now rests on Master D., FOREVER KING, THTB, Michael Angelo, MKLegend, etc.

Good luck to everyone. This tournament should be very good. I can't wait to see CD Jr., Pig, REO, Dizzy, Osu, etc. etc. in action.

Its not "some fucking bullshit". Its a contract. Medina is free to record and upload whatever, but the only two streams from the floor will be Level Up and Focus Fire.

Maybe Medina is right and I am spoiled, I just assumed the situation was the same as FR and he had access to 4G so that his casting would have no impact on the main streams other than maybe a few less viewers. If this isn't the case then I'll eat my words and thank you for supporting our community.
