Depends on what character you fight and who do you fight against.

you can go with the reset with smoke b.c you can d4 his wakeups to stuff them or if he trys and jumps you can standing 4 or backdash aa 1 to get another combo going

ermac you can try but if he anticipates it then he can wakeup lift.

resets should always be used sparingly.

Yeah I'm always hesitant to challenge Ermac on his wake up.

The combo I use to setup my reset goes like this - jip, 212, upknee, 212, upknee, 12, Ex upknee, Ex portal. I like using the Ex portal because it seems to land on them at the perfect time. I don't think they have enough time to jump out. I believe they are forced to do some kind of wake up. I could be wrong. This setup gives me enough time to recover and dash back enough to where I can react to the opponent trying to jump out (if possible) and catching him with an upknee, or I can block punish any wake up he does, if it's punishable that is.

If the reset land ths combo that should be executed afterwards looks like this...

njp, 3 upknee, 12 upknee, 12 upknee, 12 upknee

f they try use something invincible on wakeup and y see it coming just block lol and punish with a corner bnb.

No matter how you guess right you will always get another combo.

also i like to portal backdash upknee vs people who fear the portals an tend to jump out

I was testing out the first combo you mentioned against reptile and after the splat/portal reptile only has 1 safe option to get out of the corner and that's his Ex Dash. I found that if you do "front" portal after the splat, it will land behind Noob and it will catch Reptile on the second part of his Ex dash. So from now on against Reptile I think I'm going to do the splat combo and end with front portal just incase they do the Ex dash. Anything else can be block punished.

ill start wit hito's 212upknee 12 12upknee 12 upknee 12 ex upknee njp for 41% into portal--- then u can do standing 4 21 upknee njp portal for 27% by that stage they'd probably have breaker so just exupknee, upknee, upknee, teleslam for 28%

hey guys i got this idea from frothy omen and just thought it would be nice to discuss secondary characters for noob . i mainly main noob shang sektor but that trio just does not work, so let me know who u guys use and their strenghts weaknesses etc . lets find someone worthy of the brotherhood

I'd say Scorpion cause hes so balanced. His 4-6's are still really winnable. He has a huge comeback factor.
