Best anti-air Jabs / Crossovers Characters

Hey guys, just wanting to know your top 5 characters / best anti-air jabs/ crossovers.

I believe Jax and Johnny cage are beasts in this department, am i rigt?

Yes, you are.

Cage's jabs lead into nut punch and pressure while Jax's jabs carry to the wall.

Scorp's d1 is incredible and Smoke's standing 2 can get you to a smoke bomb+combo in several ways

The hitbox on Kenshi`s standing 2 is great and easily confirms into 22% combo ended with spirit charge. But the startup isnt quite as fast as a nice standing jab.

Subby 22, Lao Spin and Scorp d+1 are awesome as ppl posted above. Shang have some juice in his standing 1 too.

EX Ovi should launch
Smoke can anti air with 2 from standard jump range into full combo, B2 if he dashes back and waits for them to touch the ground, or d1 for late anti airs and cross ups.

Can also pick people out of the air from anywhere on the screen with EX Smokebomb because the hitbox is so good.

Nightwolf is better than jax in AA 1 I think. Only because I think the AA combo itself does more damage and carrys farther to the corner.

My rank list is:
Shang, Cage, Sonya, (end in resets with good damage but Shang gets damage boost)
Nightwolf, jax, kitana, raiden, Sub zero

I think skarlet is in the top with standing 2 up slash combo into great damage and reset

How much does Nightwolf's AA jab combo do without meter? I think you are right on the wall carry being in NW's favour, but Jax's does 29% with no meter off a standing 1.

Top 5 most reliable anti airs imo (not necessarily the most devastating):

1. Sub's ice clone
2. Sub's 22
3. Kung Lao's spin
4. Cage's 1
5. Jax's 1

Cyrax's anti air is a close #6.

Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
I don't really use Sub often, once in a blue but his 22 is great AA lol. From playing him and watching others use it.

Based on characters I use:

Ermac, 1 and F1 is good AA if timed right. You can even use his D1 like Scorp's but not as effective as Scorp's.

Smoke I like doing his teleport on crossover jumps to escape trouble. And his ex shake great too

I've also AA people with Smoke's 4 when timed right.

Uppercuts are good too depending on character.

There's neutral jump punch which can work against crossovers.

Raiden's enhanced grab shocker

Scorps 1 or D1 I like

Noob's shadow rise kick

Sektor's flame thrower

How much does Nightwolf's AA jab combo do without meter? I think you are right on the wall carry being in NW's favour, but Jax's does 29% with no meter off a standing 1.
I forget. I'll find out though. I could be wrong cause 29 is pretty high. I think nw is around 26

IMO you want to look for the people who can put you into a block string off an anti air 1 or d1.
Those are: Cage, Sonya, Skarlet, Rain, (Shang?)

Next you want to look at good hitboxes on both the attack animation and size of the character - this time, the bigger the better!
Those are: Sub Zero (22), Scorpion, Ermac, Jax, Nightwolf

Smoke gets a special award too since he can reset you off an anti-air d1. Kung Lao gets award for spin as well.

Cyrax's anti air is a close #6.
I would say "most reliable" are AA grabs that make you invulnerable to air attacks. Jax's air gotcha, sheeva's air grab and cyrax anti air grab. These don't lead to big damage but you literally can't get hit out of it after a small startup window.

Cyrax's AA can be punished if you just throw it out there, but it's easy to use on reaction. I'm pretty sure air grabs like Jax/Scorp/Smoke's can be punished too

Not sure if you understand what I mean.

If they are jumping at you and you use those moves, you will not sometimes lose to a jump kick or jump punch like if you were to use a normal.

And I'm not talking about jumping air to air grabs. I'm talking about grounded, anti-air grab moves that have invincibility against airbourne attacks.
