Tom is one of those people who really was skill checked by the growth of social media. It's all over, and not just in youtube, and a real issue.

You see lots of people who create or get involved in something, who then argue the dumbest points with the smallest group of people. 1 person says something catastrophically stupid and they feel the need to drop everything and respond. It's a shame because Tom and many of the other people I know of who fit this category are often very talented and insightful people, but they're spending their lives dealing arguing with the bottom of the barrel (not that this isn't also affecting the world on some level).

It's the social equivalent of someone getting wrecked by d1 spam.

Meh it makes some sense. Every grappler needs a tool to get in. Reiko was somewhat unique in that he's a hybrid grappler, and one of his better "get in" tools is forcing them to come to you.

Does this actually exist though, in the circles that matter? I don't think I've seen a single credible person anywhere legitimately complain about zoning in MK1.

I’m almost 40yrs old I remember fighting SF2 Zagat with Guile it was normal but nowadays that style is boring and outdated.

see the issue is online lag makes zoning a lot more annoying to deal with this is why most players dislike it.
Nobody liked fighting Injustice low gun shots and I mained Guile is SF4.
