Mavado let's you combo off the OH and the Low, but they're unsafe, also some good setups from the combos. And you get combos from projectiles.

Motaro and Lao let you combo from armor.

am i correct that sektor can barely crack 300 damage without fatal blow?
We're cracking optimal 50% midscreen without Fatal Blow pahtnah.

how strong is her keep away game? as strong as deathstroke in injustice?
MU dependent. There are some MUs that it looks pretty strong and some MUs where it doesn't really work. Definitely an amazing counter-zoner though.

she is very kameo dependent though, isnt she?
i have a ~340 bnb with sub for one kameo bar. ive also seen easy 400+ with sareena.
Yea, but most characters are lol. You still have solid meterless and 1 bar routes if you land a hit without any Kameo meter. You can get some pretty high optimal damage with kameos like Lao as well as Sonya or Motaro and such though. And depending on what route you wanna go, pretty much the entire moveset can always lead to damage. Probably one of her main strengths if anything, every touch seems to hurt them. Lao is probably the S-Tier kameo pairing if I had to guess.

i dunno, chars like raiden, ashrah and more hit way harder by themselves.

anyway, what do you consider her standard routes? ive been using like 11db4, j212~f+fly, 212, db2. i couldnt get ENdb4 to add any worthwhile damage or juggles.

i also dont see the entire moveset lead to good damage outside of ambush launchers with scorp and mavado. goro's doesnt work well and i didnt try janet. she has few confirmable strings, her mixup is a hard read and the only safe special option doesnt launch (db2, ENdb2).

kung lao, yes i see that. launcher from 42throw, delayed buzzsaw/fly mixups, probably some good teleport setups from db1.

i dont wanna sound like i think the character is bad, quite the opposite. she feels pretty strong, but in my experience in very differnet places than in yours.

What lol. I mean you're getting like a third of their health no kameo no meter no corner alone. Once you start adding those things damage gets bigger and bigger. That's more than enough for a character with this toolkit. Someone like Raiden might "do more damage" a bit but also is inferior in so many ways he should be polishing Sektor's armor.

As far as that combo you listed, it sounds like you're leaving some damage on the table. If you're doing that with no resources at all, I'd suggest trying this one:

11db4, microdash, 4db2, jf212, float, j32. I'm not in front of the game right now but that does like 32-33% no resources and leaves them at a good space to set up shop. There's one that's like 34% but I find it muchhh less reliable than the one I just listed above so I use it currently.

S4 is an 11F punisher that can lead to like 45% damage midscreen fairly easily with simply a bar and half a Kameo, more if you add more resources and/or are in the corner.

But I've already played with fire and said too much, Sektor is actually low damage and I support Sektor buffs. :coffee:

i can only get this to work with ENdb2. still a good combo if somewhat tight though.
Nah save the meter unless you're going for the big boy combos lol, it takes a few practice reps for sure but once you get it down it's pretty easy. The main part is after the original teleport launcher you have to micro dash the right the space of them falling when you do S4db2. If you microdash too short then db2 part whiffs, and if you dash too deep you'll be too far in to connect the rest. But after some practice you'll be able to see the drop height almost like it's in slow motion and it gets pretty easy to do.

@kabelfritz I do that route off any raw teleport also when I'm not burning anything, just got back home and added a quick clip, looks like this (just pretend I was not goofing off in practice mode lol):

i get it now. the trick is to juggle him in a way that the second hit of db2 whiffs.
You got it! And if it gets too tight for online play you can always take about 2% off the route itself to do something like 11db4, j212, db2, j32 which I'm sure you can hit in your sleep.

its a bit tight for my taste. im staying with my old route for now, with sub kameo its only 20 less damage anyway. but its day 4, so what do we know?

Yea I've already shifted away from meta, as usual. Lao and Motaro seem about 90% of the Usage, but I think I'm running Sektor/Sektor going forward and am pretty convinced lol.

sektor/sektor makes a lot of sense, i agree. he can launch from 42throw and the rest of the moves dont hurt either. i have just not picked that team because i play sektor on havik.

looking at motaro, he has the kombo extension, but what else? i dont see much synergy there.

oh and darrius might be a sleeper pick, as well as shujinko.

Yea pretty much Motaro is being able to extend on flame and being able to far tele away, but the more I play/see the less I like the Motaro pairing. Double Sektor just has so much utility and setups. Lao is probably the only other one I'd consider right now and still exploring some Frost stuff.

darrius gets 300 damage from 11~bf1 for a half kameo bar and his overhead setup is obviously good with sektors great lows.

jax can convert from bf1 too. he might actually also be insane with his way to force opponents off the ground.

shujinko depends on what move he steals, some get good conversions from 42throw. he also has a free launcher now and can always take a hit to get sektors slower zoning started.
