Aris doesn't play MK9 anymore, and he was the "face" of smoke. Sure we have CDjr and KT Smith now, but neither of them are really the "face" of smoke you know? He is pretty super top-tier, and is a very methodical fighter akin to sub-zero. A thinking man's fighter marred by 100% resets.

If he's against it then his new main is Cyrax. If he's is for it then his new main is Smoke. If he doesn't care about it, then it's obviously Raiden.

I remember during the Mortal Monday debacle, on PL's stream, I suggested he take up Cyrax and he said "Nah man, I don want to use Cyrax!". He's going to main a character "that gives him the best chance to win". Getting an absurdly huge combo without much effort certainly gives one a great chance to win.

Does it really matter who Tom Brady is going to main? He'll hype it up, lose a few matches, then default to Sub-Zero or Kung Lao. He'll post an angry video rant, take it down a day later, then rinse and repeat.

Would be nice if he picks Skarlet she seems a very good unexplored char and if mastered her rushdown might be compared to kitanas which i think is the best rush down char since kabals stuff is getting old, Rain would be nice aswell that armor cancel seems to be good, another char I havnt seen around.

and as far as "has no face goes".. there are ppl who used a character ONCE and are "the face" of a character? i have used sub-zero from day 1, by far the most successful with him, and im was never the face of the character lmao.. can someone even define what makes someone the face of a character" lmao... popularity contest is all that is.

in the end, being the "face" of a character doent matter, only wins and losses regardless of what character someone chooses.

i think its Scorpion. He doesnt have a face, and Tom is good friends and sparring partners with PerfectLegend who happened to put Scorpion in his list of top 5 characters. I'm betting that Tom secretly has an amazing Scorpion that PL really respects.

I dont know why else PL would put Scorpion in his top 5. there isnt any high level players besides Slips that play him, and PL had no problems at all /w Slips and seemed to know the Scorpion matchup really well somehow...

Agreed, that was the most fun I've had in years. I'll be at Final Round. I haven't played MK9 since last May, but Zaq is letting me borrow his until Final Round, maybe I can get some practice in before I get blown up at FR.
