Does anyone know why the game is so quiet? I usually used headphones and didn't notice, but I put the sound on the TV and it was very quiet. I had to turn it all the way ip to hear the music and the dialogue. Not sure if it's the same on the console version.
People have reported low sound for it and others in the past. Might do a google on that.

You might also go to your sound mixer settings or hit windows+g (either while playing ) and make sure the MK11 audio dial is all the way up. Applications now all have their own volume settings and Windows remembers them. If one gets set low for some reason, you might never know it.

It is, thanks to game bar I don't even need to alt tab. It's fully up. I googled it, but all I got were two steam threads who reported the same issue but were unsure about it. It's not a huge issue, just very unusual.

Never mind. Seems to be more solid when I lower the resolution one notch. Just a tad softer, but I can live with it.

The game seems to be dropping frames more significantly. Anyone else having a spike in frame drops after the Aftermath? I know there was one fellow up there before hand.

I don't have drops off line at all, but varied degrees online. I work pretty hard to police that sort of thing in my games. At this point I'm kind of thinking it may be the other players not quite being "there", but IDK. I kind of feel that way because the amount seems to vary with whomever I'm fighting. Returning to the same stage with another player and it might be different than the last. The new stages seem to hit pretty hard demand wise. Especially the new Kronika stage which I think is unfortunately my favorite in the game.

You can get a green rating and still drop a frame here and there, and you can always load up stuff in the background you weren't during the benchmark (which also may not even be the worst case scenario). There also more than a few users out there with thousands of games running the game with a yellow and red scores, which seems bonkers to me, but I imagine there are some barely greens too.

Could also be that online actually has to work the game harder to processes the rollback frames, but I think most of that would be CPU processing and my CPU doesn't seem to be going over 15%, so I kind of doubt it the rollback overhead on my end. Whatever it is, it's kind of annoying and slowing things down at times. I may have to try scaling everything all the way down just to see what happens, but minor downgrades and killing vsync haven't solved anything as of yet. The slowdown might also point to connections, but IDK. I noticed the drops yesterday playing people I've not had problems with before, so I feel like it's probably a new thing.

I haven't had to adjust any of my settings at all, though I'm playing in 1080p. Everything is still just fine.

Yup, i am having fps drops again too. Looks like new stages, especially the Soul Chamber are not optimized well...

Getting them even on old stages I've never had problems with before. New ones are the worst. Seems like it's always when someone is getting hit, I drop like 5 frames.

Offline, no drops.

I keep getting patches of slowdown in offline practice mode. It used to happen before the patch, but now it's more frequent and more severe. It's like when the game slows down during an online Fatal Blow, but during normal offline gameplay.

Yeah, I had that weird "slow-motion" effect yesterday in the Cyber Lin Kuei stage. Haven't experienced it on other stages, but it was pretty noticeable.

Played with @Sutter Pain for a good while. We tried everything to work around it and it was pretty severe the whole time. It seem to not be dropping frames on his end, but the delays on my end would cause rollbacks for him. Makes me not feel good about any of my wins over the couple of days.

I dialed just about everything down including the setting the screen resolution absurdly low. Later I may have to try looking a disabling other stuff going on in my system, but any usual things that concern me are off. In the past I've heard about people turning off the Steam overlay, so that may be worth a try, but I'm thinking it looks like a dev thing and not a me thing

During our long set earlier, our connection felt smooth to me for the most part. When I play against some people, the rollback is an issue and their character is teleporting into their active frames, but I didn't notice that at all when we played.

I noticed it here and there, but mostly it was fine for us. Until the stage switch anyway. Those last couple I started seeing my fps counter drop 5f quite a bit

im tired of those cheaters on pc who even admit cheating.

it doesnt , it depends how you quit the game. the way those fucks do it you get the L and there is no quitality.
damn, really? I thought the only restriction was if they quit in the first round, it just counts as a d/c. Anything after that, the game counts it as a Quitality, regardless of what happened. But maybe I'm wrong. I've only had a couple Quitalities happen to me, but a bunch of desyncs (which I assumed were bugs, since it was confirmed they were bugs before). But I haven't gone online in a long while. Maybe there's more salty kids playing now.

This isn't even that bad compared to this other dude roaming around on PC.

Match starts and is under water the entire time. He uses Cetrion too to make it even more of a pain in the ass. You're forced to quit unless you're a masochist and actually make the attempt.

There's another person that makes it sit at the loading screen indefinitely after picking your characters, forcing you to quit.

This alt+F4 shit isn't new at all. It just so happens to jack the win/loss record.

I actually played chicken with that guy about a month ago. Just tabbed out and watched Netflix for like 40m until I heard the game load in. He immediately desync'd it, though, which naturally resulted in me getting the L anyway.

That's 40 min he couldn't do it to other people.
