There was enough bullshit to usually feel like you could do things against them. It's not so much as liu kang is "broken" but when you're a jack of all trades and master of nearly all and you have a character who has to use subpar strings and grabs to win it's a lot more of an issue.

I agree, I don't feel nearly as much pressure as other people on here do. People are saying things like, "Even if you play perfectly, you still get outplayed." I play Buzzed D'vorah (so I have to deal with all his zoning, and have no fast mids), and although I do see that Liu Kang is better than other characters, it's not some major switch of mindset that I'm doing to play against Liu Kang. In my personal experience on KL, even at high ranks like Demi-God and God, I honestly don't care when I get matched up against Liu Kang. He's nothing compared how it felt to play the pre-patch top tiers. People say that he's in a whole tier of his own, way better than every character in this game, but when you think about it, every character in this game are really close in tiers. I'm not saying "Liu Kang is fine", but I really don't think he's broken or outrageously good to the level on what I hear people say.
THe thing is that most players are going to show you in round 1 their entire tool kit with LK. They go HAM with F4 and show you a pattern. You still have to be ready and you still have to play smart but its not a situation where when you play a better game he is going to demolish you no matter what.

Bro you seem to pick and choose parts of what the pros say to suit your agenda. Scar complains and you throw it up like it's gospel but sonic says JC is a 7 - 3 against liu and he must be joking.
this is from that thread. I might be reading this wrong but you use an example of sonic saying something you don't believe the 7-3 JC match up so he must be joking and then you talk about how he says kang is a problem which you say shows how much of a problem kang is?
But you agree with him when he says kang is a problem. That seems like you are taking parts of what he has said to suit your agenda.
Or maybe i have opinion on the topic and can agree with some of SonicFox or any other Pro player and disagree on something i dont think its true, like Cage - Kang being 7-3 ?

yeah it's the way you use quotes it looks the way I have said. As a bit of an outsider with this game and seeing the ways JC can punish alot of kangs bs it looks like he could at least take out the brain dead kang players and I look forward to see what sonic can do with him.
JC vs Kang is a 7-3 matchup bro just leave it be. EVERYONE here knows cage has better tools, a fast advancing hit confirmable, staggerable mid and better, variable fireballs that can be used to stagger.
