Question re: downplay

More fancy bullshit talk. Using a lot of words but not saying anything. This tactic of yours is not uncommon on the internet. You like to take your time and put together these long winded responses laced with all kinds words that show off your vocabulary because you think it makes you sounds smart and takes the focus off your paper thin arguments.

I'm pretty over this whole discussion to be honest. You suck at the game and cant accept it's not the top tiers fault so you take to the forums and bitch and condescend to everyone that disagree's.

Lk is very strong and probably the strongest in the game right now and the volumes of LK's I play daily just help me get better and better win or lose.

My responses have been shorter turnaround than yours. Can you give me an example of a paper thin argument presented in my last post? Like for instance hyperfocusing on vocabulary rather than the contents of a post? Your strategy seems to be swearing up and down you're addressing what I've said while simultaneously dancing around proclaiming there's nothing to address.

Klassic deflection. I also asked you a question point blank which you've wisely opted not to answer.

Liu Kang is definitely the best (not 'probably', nice subtle downplay tho) character in the game and this opinion is shared by everyone with a shred of credibility. Yes, we all continue to improve at the game the more we play it - you are not unique in this capacity.

Its not only Fox, its Dragon, its Foxy, and so on. And its the uphill battle you need to do in terms to beat the character. The ease top Kang player move through this guy is ridiculous. And before someone start crying about it, no one said top Kang player are not skilled.
And the character doesnt have a bad matchup obviously.

ok I'll spoon feed it to you. You asked is liu the most downplayed character. The answer would be no. Everybody who has replied has said he is top tier. That was what was said in the first part of my reply today but again you seem to have trouble reading an entire reply.

honestly i think nerfing top tier isnt a way to reach a full balanced fighting game. think about it why is smash is well balanced and marvel vs capcom games ?

Smash cause there is very few top tiers
Marvel cause everyone has broke shit.

just buff the low tiers so there is no more real low tiers and thats it its ok to have 1 character above the rest. its no big deal if you still have 10-15 very strong character that also have broken tools but isnt just has good.

It's not up for debate whether it happens, because that's plain to see. The question was whether it ran more rampant than the downplay of the prior season(s).

Look up "power creep" and apply it to fighting games. That's what happens when you only buff and never nerf. The collective power of the entire cast is shifted upwards, which is not always what a game calls for. Some things are too strong and not only in relation to everything worse. Marvel is the perfect example. That game is power creeped out the ass. Everything is touch of death. Is it a fun game? Sure. But it's busted as hell.

If everything is equally broken there is arguably an innate 'balance,' but the answer to say Geras isn't to give every character 1 bar 45% bnbs nor is the answer to Liu to pile KBs and looping 9f staggers on everyone. It's to tone those two down so we get to play the game more, not less.

English lesson time. "Most" is relative. He could be downplayed by a grand total of 2 people on Earth and still be the 'most' downplayed. Whether or not it was present in this thread specifically is moot.

Please watch some SF 2 Super Turbo Akuma Play, that is what a broken character looks like. Broken chars get banned at Tournaments, I ain´t seeing that happen to Liu Kang

MK11 is already more balanced than any of the games in either series.

See this is where opinion doesn't matter. Broken is an absolute. It's not subjective. Broken is a word that gets thrown around a lot.
Like the other guy said check out Akuma in SF2 Super Turbo. Or infinites in certain builds of UMK3. Those are examples of broken.
Broken means that said character has a tactic or set up that is impossible to counter and or block and its almost never that way on purpose from the devs. Broken tactics or set ups come from oversights or gaps in game design that allow for something to be done by a character with no possible recourse.
Broken is not a measure of a characters strength in the META of a game.

If even Liu is OP, he is only OP at levels Elder God and beyond. If you lose to Liu in any levels below that - you are just not good at the game. Get better.
