Your Saltiest Moment in MK11?

Let's talk about your saltiest moments :)

I think mine may have been yesterday. I've fought a few Noobs, though not a ton, and I was fighting one and it was a close set and we were down to 10% life. I knocked him down in the corner, and I had a feeling that he was about to try something desperate on wakeup, so I decided to cross him up. As expected, he wake up Fatal'ed, and I landed completely behind him, facing the other way, about to punish. However (unbeknownst to me), due to the hitbox extending behind him, his wrong-way fatal blow connected with me -- from behind.

Then he teabagged and fatalitied me. I left the FGC and became a Fortnite player in that moment (ok not really, but that's what I felt like doing). That's my story.

Share in my salt TYM. Tell me yours :D

Losing a ranked match because someone dropped out of Kotal's kitty cat on hit.

Pre-patch you could easily full combo punish it on hit just by spending two bars defensive meter. Generally people didn't know about this but in the desperation of being about to lose my opponent who was furiously mashing breakout as I was about to win just happened upon this.

So glad they fixed this.

Literally just a couple minutes ago. There's this chris.c guy on PC that plays Erron Black. He perfectly stuffed me out of TWO wake-up Fatal Blows, one with a grab and one with a B2, in the same set. The second one would have killed him and it was on the final round of the final match of the set.

My blood pressure skyrocketed. Had to log off after that one.

That's because wakeup fatal blow isn't a thing

Some language as a warning.

Matchup between myself (Ripper Kano) and a Searing Rage Scorpion and EB player pre-patch. We both play, it’s an absolute slog of a match. Teabag walking to your opponent was ultra shit, and considering his connection was subpar, I didn’t want him to teleport on me when I advanced with minor frame delay. Anyways, I time the Air Kano Balls, Knives, and dashes at fullscreen almost perfectly to cover distance. I made a lot more reads than him, but since his combo damage was more reliable and his normals are better than what I could do, due to highs, he takes first set with a fatal.

No biggie. Hit rematch and tried to bait teleport as hard as possible so I can put him in the corner. Plan goes surprisingly well with Wave Dashing mixed with knives. We go 1 round a piece and I figured “fuck it.” Just go 100% rush. Block if possible or if you lose your turn, but get in and REALLY beat his ass. 1 throw, 2 throw, enhanced parry the wakeup, sweep, and then I don’t remember the rest of the sequence. He gets stomped and says a few words about myself being a bitch and goes to character selection.

Erron Black.

For fucks sake. This match up opened my eyes to Scud Shot and how much of a game changer it is. The B222 into yolo sweeps were too easy to read, some free punishes there. I saw D3, D1, B222xxScud Cancel or Slide for a large portion of the game. He played super conservative after the first round and just played pure footsies and neutral. Now, I’m fucking sweating at this point because we’re tied rounds and I just don’t have an answer to anything outside of a safe sweep or a hard read on B2. I tick throw him, he does the same sequence of B222xxScud —> Poke with some jumpins. Checks me multiple times with F4, but I parry some of them.

It’s down to the wire. After I block B222 Enhanced Scud Shot, I attempt to take a turn and I’m met with a fucking fatal blow, point blank. Guy yells on mic “ain’t so fucking bad now huh?” Quit to main menu, just fuming, and I go into Klassic Towers to beat up on a bot.

Sometimes this online shit can get the better of you.

Is it weird that I haven’t gotten salty at all? I mean I get irritated when I drop combos sometimes but I’m over it instantly. I haven’t gotten mad once and I only have a 48.3% win average. I dunno, I just have fun.
