I'm not and "endzone dance" kind of guy. I'm a "just hand the ref the ball" guy. I don't understand stuff like this and I thinks it's incredibly immature. Manchildren.

It’s probably just me, but I’d rather see Buffalo (or anyone) say what they have to say to someone’s face rather than passively or indirectly engage in another Twitter war.

That said, I’d even more prefer that this drama not begin in the first place. (To be fair, Buffalo didn’t start the drama.)

Buffalo did nothing but make himself look like a total asshole. Pop offs are all good in my book. But this was beyond a pop off. This type of shit could start a fight. A lesser man would have put their hands on Buffalo. Props to Scar...an actual professional.

Shit talking people after big wins, downplaying them isn't professional. The pro thing would've been to shut your mouth.

It seemed a bit excessive, but i'm not one to judge. I'd be tempted to do the same thing if I just beat someone's ass who shittalked me. Think of the emotion he had leading to that win and outburst.

It really is better to just shake their hand and walk away as though it didn't mean anything to you. Bonus: Buy them a beer/soda.

It's easy for any of us to sit here at our computers or phones and critique it.

It's no different from the guys that go "man if I were in that situation, i'd beat his ass."

I've been in the situation enough times to know what I do in it.

As someone who's gotten bodied in so many Tekken tournies over a decade including 2 EVOs, I find it impossible to get mad at a real dude sitting next to me and end up laughing it off. There's always some matchup that got screwed up or some random dude in pools you couldn't adapt to. Such is life and and a lot of these guys have ended up on my friend list after i've met them face to face. It's all different types of dudes...white dudes, black dudes, hispanic dudes, middleastern dudes, asian dudes, etc, etc from different economic/cultural backgrounds, etc, etc and we've all gotten along.

Big difference between pop-offs that are just for general kicks/fun and an actual angry outburst. The latter is such immature heeillbilly bullsht. Keep the angry outbursts back in the trailer casa boys. If you feel like a genocidal maniac after playing a FG, FGs are not for you. Play some RPG on easy mode instead.

Scar is not a fan of FT2. That is why he said what he said after Buffalo beat NinjaKilla. The exchange on Twitter between the two was no where near the hostility that Buffalo displayed after beating Scar in a FT2 in tournament. Seriously, look up all the dialogue between the two on Twitter. Buffalo could have taunted him, popped off, or said a few words...that would have been hype. But going off like the child that he is just made him look stupid. It was a child going off on an emotional rant in an extremely belligerent manner. That is not cool, that is not okay. The manner he went at him was extremely hostile. Verbal hostility in a mans face over him saying FT2 is fraudulent and blocking you on Twitter is not grounds to try to bait a physical altercation after winning in an Offlime tournament.

Let’s not pretend that Scar was just showing his disdain for FT2. It was a dig at a player who did nothing but win a match. Context matters.

It's the kinda "empowerment" a timid lil shthead gets in a freeload shthole like Daytona Beach when he sees a black dude. I am a white dude from Kansas. Believe me, i know how these shtheads think

You've attended competitive tournaments, soundly beat a well known player, had you win condescendingly downplayed by another well known player, and then beat said condescending player decisively shortly after?

Pray tell.
I’ve gotten into disagreements a lot bigger than a video game haas. I’ve gone to blows with dudes and then squashed it over a beer. Life ain’t worth holding a grudge.

I don't think it's right or wrong. It's just embarrassing to see someone freak out like that. It makes him look sensitive and emotional. Like this game is really getting to him.

Different strokes for different folks, y'know. Just because it looks like something to you or anyone else =/= that's what it is.

The only "problem" is that it went on a bit longer than it should have.

I get that some people might like this sort of freak out. I also didn't consider that he was doing a bit or playing a character or something either. I assumed that was just a real dude not handling a win well.

I can't believe so many people are defending a white dude trying to oppress a black man like this.

Or is that a white woman? If it's a woman, forget what I said. I think being a female gamer trumps being a black dude in this context, since women are clearly more underrepresented and victimized than black dudes in the gaming world.

I'd like to see their voting records as well. If either of them support Trump, then the wrongness of that trumps the race and gender stuff.

Did we really need to necro this again? At this point the only people adding new comments are people who have no idea about the back story, and now people are starting to call it a race thing (can't tell if the guy above me is memeing or something, lets hope he is).

I enjoyed the pop off. Given how hard Buffalo popped off, Scar must have really gotten under his skin and/or Buffalo is just a sensitive dude.

I couldn't imagine myself getting that heated over MK, but regardless, Buffalo is just expressing himself. These types of things are what liven the community.

If you think what he did was wrong, you're probably a lifeless curmudgeon who subscribes to SJW and PC ideology
