F242 Mid Screen Conversion Is Possible. +4 On block Launcher.

I need to see this god at tournaments. 15f reactions, I'd be fucking everyone up. Gonna go lab till I win.

Lol reality is you are making a smart guess with low risk. It isn't a raw reaction. In your own video proof you miss a flawless already to a repeatable motion and distance. When something is considered reactable you are killing it over 90 percent of the time in a real match. Like a full screen fireball, you can react and duck.

Yes flawless will be more common as the game moves forward, but isn't because you have 15f reactions. It's because you understand at what range people are pressing a button and the option the way it's designed is very low risk. That's why most parry mechanics in other games involve pressing forward or not a blocking motion.

Idk about y'all but I can react to Raiden's 4f reversal move so you just need to git gud tbh
I not only react 4F reversal but flawless block it in that 3F window.. So my reaction time is around 1-2F which is fortunately not too fast to do the FB too early. :)
Damn too fast reaction time can be trouble I do not like waiting for the slow 7F pokes for 2-3 frames before hit me in the 3 frames window.

I am The Flash btw.

In fact, anyone who isn't playing on a 1ms monitor should probably just stay out of the convo about what's reactable altogether tbh, go ask your moms to upgrade your shit if you want to have convos about competitive balance :coffee:
Ok just since you have pointed out your “1ms” monitor I have to ask... you do understand that the “1ms” is in regards to just pixel response time, not input delay, right?

They are 2 different things. It being a 1ms monitor doesn’t really mean shit.

A 1ms monitor can still have over 20ms of input lag... but yeah continue being an elitist when you don’t even know what you are talking about.

Uh, what is it today with people who claim that they can react to 15 frame moves, or 10 frame throws? There was a guy in another thread who said he had 3F reaction time lolololol.

Yeah, we've been discussing the practicality of the F242 DB1F connect in the Warlock combo thread.

Still super impractical compared to a 3U2 that you can convert for 34% with Soul Steal ender without dealing with F242's 2-frame link just to get the DB1F Amp out, and both do 20% meterless. You can also use the 3U2 as a punish string for a lot more situations, since F2 is 17f and S3 is 10f.

Being + on block is the only benefit so you can use it as a pressure string, but the F2 is a 17f startup and even if you don't get outpoked it's mad easy to Flawless Block so doing it raw is... not smart... and using this for whiff punish with a soul steal ender is objectively worse damage than FF 3U2 since the DB1 Amp connector isn't so limited. You can also make the F3U2 safe by finishing the string out on block confirm (F3U2D2) to push them super far away.

Everyone talking about "the big gap" though is exaggerating, it's not a big gap at all -- 7f and trades with other 7f pokes. Wigy is right. Luckily it sucks mid screen for all those other reasons, tho.
3u2d2 is punishable.

You push them away pretty far by finishing it out. It's - on block but not everyone has the means to punish it because of the distance. It's MU dependent. Regardless, context was punishes, not using it from neutral, hence me literally saying "being + on block is the only benefit so you can use it as a pressure string" in the post you're quoting.

If you're using it as a pressure string then you shouldn't end in the last d2 on block because its punishable.

Again -- go lab it -- it pushes everyone so far away that the majority of the cast has no punish for it due to distance on block, stop just looking at the "-16" and not understanding practical play. All his specials are also punishable, without the benefit of distance on block. You should 100% finish it out on block, especially because people who don't know the MU don't expect another low in that string, but mostly because it pushes them 3/4 screen and the -16 is very safe at that distance.

Your other options are to end at the U2: -14 and ends close as fuck, very punishable
Canceling into other punishable specials: ?????

But to reiterate the above for the millionth fucking time, you DON'T use the 3U2D2 as a pressure string, that's referring to the F242 because it's safe on block.

Reading comprehension needs some work around here.

Now consistently do that in a real match where people are not gonna do it with the same timing when you’re also looking for Fan Tosses & Jumps

Recording 1 was a totally different string, it just didn't come out, so I was also looking for other starters. It's just not hard to react.

Do you people just stare at your own character the entire match, or

I use Spellmaster so I cancel it into df3 which is -6.[/QUOTE]

I know, but when I read,

"You can also make the F3U2 safe by finishing the string out on block confirm (F3U2D2) to push them super far away."

I thought I should clarify that it is punishable for anyone who reads this.

It does make it safe in several MUs. That's the whole point you're still, amazingly, missing.

Wanted to post the same, I'm sure he doesn't know the difference. :D

Stop wasting our time with practice mode footage and talk of reading comprehension and post your matches so we can see your godlike skills

Let's stop with all the nonsense and keep it on topic otherwise the thread is gonna get closed.

That I know of, 3U2D2 is punishable by at least half the cast. Shang, Cage, Noob, Scorpion, Jax, Baraka, Jaqui, Sub, Kano, Liu, Jade, Skarlet, and Erron can all punish it. Some with a full combo.

I know a lot of people are bashing you for what you said about reaction time, but try not to get so offended when I challenge what you said. My goal is not to make you look bad; it's to shed light on the fact that this string is not safe.
