This Skarlet player is decent but Sonya is a tough matchup for sure. This player NEEDS to do blood trail to beat Sonya's rings.Nice play from the Skarlet player.

Dizzy figuring it out though. But I think the Skarlet is showing good movement, just needs to mix up the zoning a bit more, maybe do that ground blood thing a bit more? I have poor character knowledge.
Her zoning is good but against Sonya's fast ass rings, its hard to compete. And u saw why. Dizzy had that match too. Damn....good match tho.How is Skarlet's zoning? Is she fun to play? I'm starting with Next Gen Jacqui now, but I don't know who I want to try next yet.
You can tell he was super nervous compared to Tweedy. Tournament experience really matters I guessLet's go Hero Killer Stain!
yeah he didnt use discharge at all and got hit by unnecessary stuff mid-range. the idea was right though. You can tell he was super nervous compared to Tweedy. Tournament experience really matters I guess
That pissed me off so much. (Because I main Raiden) At first I thought okay this guy doesn't know about Raiden at al BUT when you look at the reply and looked at his face he was truly nervous. Like he looked like he was gonna puke. I feel for the guy.yeah he didnt use discharge at all and got hit by unnecessary stuff mid-range.
i main both of raiden and raijin might actually be better against geras. as you saw he could just sit fullscreen and trade chip, what thunder wave cant. had he just discharged when tweedy moved in... man, maybe next time. That pissed me off so much. What also pisses me off is that he used Rajin Raiden LOL come on Thunder Wave Raiden would be more optimal against Raiden!
I've never played in any sort of tournament (the only thing that could come close was when I used to do sets in Third Strike at my local arcade, back while it was still there), so I couldn't imagine that level of stress, especially if this is someone's first tournament. That pissed me off so much. Yeah I re-read my comment and I already disagree with myself. Thinking back now he was actually doing well with Rajin Raiden.i main both of raiden and raijin might actually be better against geras. as you saw he could just sit fullscreen and trade chip, what thunder wave cant. had he just discharged when tweedy moved in... man, maybe next time.
stain was in multiple online top 8 though.I've never played in any sort of tournament (the only thing that could come close was when I used to do sets in Third Strike at my local arcade, back while it was still there), so I couldn't imagine that level of stress, especially if this is someone's first tournament.
Honestly I hope Hero doesn't get discouraged and stop going to tournaments. And I hope all the new players here in Combo Breaker don't stop and grow stronger from here.I've never played in any sort of tournament (the only thing that could come close was when I used to do sets in Third Strike at my local arcade, back while it was still there), so I couldn't imagine that level of stress, especially if this is someone's first tournament.
I wish I was able to be able to make it to some of these tournaments. I'm gonna try to see how the local scene is on Long Island.Honestly I hope Hero doesn't get discouraged and stop going to tournaments. And I hope all the new players here in Combo Breaker don't stop and grow stronger from here.
Never read the chat. Filled with children or adults who never leave their house (or their parents house, same thing)Reading that chat makes me wonder if these people just found out women exist lmao
Tournament nerves are real. Even if you have a lot of tournament experience. And especially if it’s at a major AND you’re playing on stream. I made a thread about tournament nerves recently, actually. Y’all should check it out: https://testyourmight.com/threads/tournament-nerves-tips.69365/I've never played in any sort of tournament (the only thing that could come close was when I used to do sets in Third Strike at my local arcade, back while it was still there), so I couldn't imagine that level of stress, especially if this is someone's first tournament.
