Noob Saibot Tournament Variation Combo Thread

I really don't understand why everyone hates Seeing Double that much. Yes, you can't dish out insane damage, but it's footsie tools make up for it. I'd relate this variation with post-nerf Aquaman playstyle: you blockstring, you mix, you whiffpunish and while your actions don't inflict crazy damage, opponent's health steadily melt. I have much greater success with Double than Sabbath as opponents are really confused. Air tele is really great tool to punish any whiffed strings or zoning and even for punishing teleports. 5 such punishes and their health is reduced to zero. Also they should duck under your unblockable Ghost Ball. And when you mix it with his Shadow Tackle and Shadow Slide it really confuses. Also I use grabs a lot in this variation so it leads to insane damage Krushing Blow throw

This variation isnt bad, its just everything it does, DS does it better.
He doesnt have any mix, there’s never any reason to block OH against noob, so his slide is kinda useless being punishable on block if u try to mix 112 and 11slide.
His air tp is a worst version of air sickle, while sickle leads to full combo on hit and being safe-ish against some characters, his tp is punishable against everyone and does little damage if u hit it even on amplified.
His ghostball while its good that it takes away ur opponents meter, its too damn slow, and no one should be getting hit by it outside of his b1,1+3 ender (and u got to do it raw, cuz he have no combos in this variation outside the corner), while his spirit ball even as a high, really helps him in a zoning war.
SD isnt bad at all, and against someone who doesnt know the matchup it can be really useful, but really theres no point using it over DS.

How are yall making the b1, 1+3 x fatal blow land? Is there a timing window as they are dropping from the throw that i'm missing? The fatal blow is hitting separate for me.

When in doubt press fatal blow twice

I've been loving the crazy non-tourney combos you can do with him, I'll work on the tourney ones tonight. Which variation is the best, in your opinion?

Is Total Blackness a tourney preset? Sorry, ive only had the game for 2 days. The combo works with Total Blackness.
No, his tourney variations are Seeing Double (slide, air tp and ghostball) and Dark Sabbath (launching tp, air sickle and spirit ball)

Get ready for some wild shit lol those arent the "tourny variations" when selcting presets for your character look to the right for a trophy icon those are the tournament variations . Dont ask me why cause nobody knows why 8D

Black Sabbath is the band but Dark Sabbath is the variation. The other variation seems much more mediocre. I dont think anyone's really worked with it much.

So, messing around with his corner combos, i found out that apparently Noob can combo with his spirit ball after 212, which leads to some high damage.
A few notes about this:
  1. After d1, i find extremely difficulty to hit s1 for his meterless combo, and i dont think it is worth doing it cuz it gets only 2 damage more than his old combo (212, s4xxdb4, d1, d1, 113xxbf2 that does 326 damage)
  2. When spending meter, his damage goes up a lot, and the good side is that hitting b1 after d1 is much easier than s1, which leads his damage to over 400 (or 399 if u are going for the restand) which are much more than his older combos (372 restand, and 379 bf2 ender)

How do you execute the dash in these midscreen meterless
  • 2,1,2 (dash) f2,2,1,2 = 239.82
  • 2,1,2 (dash) f2,2,1 x shadow upknee =246.01
Seems like the dash animation is too long to connect the 212 and F2212

Nice find with the meterless spirit ball combo.

Try this one..

212, 4~db4, 1, 113~bf2... Does 32% also and is much easier.. A good bnb.

Yeah thats the combo i go for meterless, its much more easier than this new one and does like 2 less damage, worth it.
Also i use double d1 instead of s1 on it, i find it easier to connect after up shadow.
