Is it a bug that on Sonya's 333d4 string, the last hit (the overhead) doesn't come out if the opponent blocks the first three hits? That seems like a bug to me that
really hurts the utility of the string (and her mix-ups), but I didn't play MKX or MK9 so I'm not sure if that's normal...?
What should I be punishing with? As she seems to lack fast mid starters and lows? What to do when someone’s spamming s1 and d1?
If it's a true punish (i.e., you're hitting an opponent in recovery), you can use any high starter you want, as long as they're not low profile; but if so, go for a d3~bf2 if you're close enough.
If your opponent is just crouching there spamming, back out of their range and use a hop 3/4--it's an overhead with huge range. Or, if you're using Ring Master, drop a drone on their stupid head--that'll learn 'em quick.
